Dopo oltre mezzo secolo Brel continua a commuovere e tiene la scena incomparabilmente meglio dei modesti rappers attuali e dei sopra sopra sopravvalutati Maneskin

Nonostante il fatto che abbia "solo vent'anni", non mi vergogno di dire (seppur consapevole di essere in netta minoranza!) di dire che i miei cantanti solisti preferiti sono proprio Jacques Brel (1929-1978) e Serge Gainsbourg (1928-1991). Brel mi ha sempre affascinanto, quel modo di stare sulla scena quasi un'interpretazione teatrale, sudata ma sempre impeccabile (in tutti i sensi).
Per non parlare dei testi, molti se analizzati si rivelano interessanti anche sul piano metrico.
Le esibizioni di Brel mi hanno sempre messo i brividi. Personalmente ritengo che ascoltare un qualsiasi brano di J. Brel senza vederlo sia un vero peccato.
