Music To Be Murdered By imo is Eminems best work to date. He's had MANY lyrical/musical moments that have shined throughout his career but album-wise, this is the newest & best. Kamikaze was a return to form.......MTBMB is the natural evolution of Kamikazes best parts & he stylizes it within his "Taking down Mumble Rap" intention with Alfred Hitchcocks legacy of Horror/Murder/True Crime...............it's absolutely genius.
This is the most honest and respectable review of this beat I’ve seen coming from a different camp. (One that enjoys mumble rap). I respect you for that - keep up the great work. PS- when you used a BBQ lighter (I presume to say it was 🔥) I legit laughed out loud; that was great my man. Love it!
It's the nostalgia man, to me the MMLP is his best album to me audibly because it's the first album I got of his but there's no denying his latest MTBMB side A and B is some of his most technical work by far and it's full of bangers so in that sense his latest is probably his best but it's the oldschool sound I miss. We just need to learn to appreciate what was and enjoy what is, the fact this man is still putting out fire so far into his career is next level. We're lucky to have grown up throughout his entire catalogue being there for it all and now seeing him in his prime. Man is the rap GOAT.
Snoop Dogg was asked what his top 5 rappers of all time were, he didn't list Eminem (which is fine, sorta) but not only that he also said in addition that he could do with out Eminems entire contribution to rap.
Snoop said in an interview a lot of things about Em... 1. He said first of all white rappers aint got no respect in the hip hop game, never did. 2. He also said that he was as big as he is just because of Dre. 3. He said he aint relevant to the game no more edit: theres no longer beef between them, as Em said in Killer remix they are cool
The feeling your describing is called the nostalgic factor things over time become more valuable as sentimental attachments are developed over time especially if it’s a crutch through tough times that version of Eminem is their ideal hero. Usually people don’t take into context he is human too with his own values and that he can change and people who struggle with this will not view it in a unbiased manner but there are a lot of stans who stand with him nm what and voice that it’s not their favorite which is fair.
She is Ms Fit.. lol She talks about it on Math Hoffa’s channel. She heard this and knew that he was talking about the episode where they were talking about Em battling.
There was an interview with Math Hoffa and Murder Mook talking about this song and MsFit said something before about liking Tekashi and that’s where that line came from. She even acknowledged it and thought it was funny that Em took a shot at her.
When people refer back to other artists old songs or first couple CDs I think nostalgia is what takes over. They think it's the best because that was when they first started hearing it and it was still considered new and after a few CDs the honeymoon phase is gone.
Snoop was in an interview and first off said that Eminem wasn’t in his top 10 which Eminem clarified wasn’t what upset him it was when Snoop then said I can do without Eminem
The opening bars are about MsFit. If you don’t know, she’s a well established battle rapper who listens to Tekashi AND said she felt, and I quote, “Machine washed him”. She talks about it on Math Hoffa’s Barbershop podcast. Em got her greasy on that bar.
Na whoever told you that doesn't know what they're talking about Eminem is down with Amigos, he also shouts them out in the song Fall off of Kamikaze, and he uses one of their Beats on kamikaze in the song Not Alike. And on the leaked version of the song with Conway the Machine "Bang" he shouts Amigos out again to diss Joe Budden. But 🔥 reaction as always!
Snoop dog said in his interview that Eminem isn’t even in his top 10 rappers of all time and that’s why Eminem replied to him because they were meant to be close before snoops comments but they have sorted it now
It all happened over The Who Eminem had in his top 5 rappers of all time, then snoop didn’t include him in his then also said Em was a guest to the hip hop game it’s black music etc
He's talking about fans of Mumble Rap & their whole perspective & using the "girl" to imply it. They're all caught up in the hype of Mumble Raps popularity that they forget or don't know how to apply critical thinking to it & realize that Eminem is still the G.O.A.T/Rap God sitting in the clouds that outsells the entire genre.
As a fan of Eminem for years, his new stuff is absolutely better but his old stuff is just nostalgic and that's what people cling onto. Also I think the older albums really shows how hungry they were for Fame and to get to the top
Eminem wrote a track about this on The MM LP giving a FU to the record company because they wanted him to pump out another "My Name Is".....That track is I Am, he wrote it in like 20min and imo, it's his best song. Also the Mariah diss track is "Bagpipes From Baghdad" from The Eminem Show
My favourite album from Em is still MMLP I, but the second will always remain Kamikaze. Yet people treat Kamikaze as if it was trash. No one wants a celebrity to have a long career.
TO ME... a LIFE long EM fan, MTBMB side a, and side b, are his BEST projects. I grew up with em, and his growth is evident. And yeh, Snoop took shots, I wanted all out war tbh. Snoop would be an easy body bag for EM. I feel like I can throw together a diss that would body bag Snoop... ala Takeover... One hot album every 30 year average lol.

When Eminem refers to "she" he is talking about the rap game. The music to be murdered by album explaines this if you listen from the first to last song. Eminem is a story teller you need to listen to his songs in order to understand the plot of his story. Think of all his albums like books they don't make sense unless you start at chapter one and read till the end of his story.
Yes I can see what you're saying about how people say "legends" older stuff is better. But in my opinion when it comes to Eminem now vs back then, is that the "new" Em would totally wash old Em in a battle. Love Em then and love him now.

Im a fan already man!
I say it music to be murdered by (his last album) is my favorite Eminem album
Clutch upload! I just clicked off of some crap video to see you just posted this! :D
its the vibe em gave out when he made his first album that hunger. snoop dissed em saying he could live without Eminem's music
It's because the hip hop in the 90s and early 2000s just hit different than any of the stuff you hear now 😜
Snoop said EM wasn't in the top 10 of all time and said hip hop could live without EMs music
Eminem didn’t care about not being in snoops top 10 it’s just the part about living w/o his music
@@itzsabbage3830 i didn't say he did I'm just quoting what snoop said
he also made fun of the song stan like it was trash on radio
Snoop said in an interview a lot of things about Em...
1. He said first of all white rappers aint got no respect in the hip hop game, never did.
2. He also said that he was as big as he is just because of Dre.
3. He said he aint relevant to the game no more
edit: theres no longer beef between them, as Em said in Killer remix they are cool
Because the slim shady and Marshall mathers LPs were and still are 🔥🔥🔥
The feeling your describing is called the nostalgic factor things over time become more valuable as sentimental attachments are developed over time especially if it’s a crutch through tough times that version of Eminem is their ideal hero.
It's called nostalgia
When people refer back to other artists old songs or first couple CDs I think nostalgia is what takes over. They think it's the best because that was when they first started hearing it and it was still considered new and after a few CDs the honeymoon phase is gone.
Snoop was in an interview and first off said that Eminem wasn’t in his top 10 which Eminem clarified wasn’t what upset him it was when Snoop then said I can do without Eminem
i like Snoops niece Sasha Banks from wwe but hated when he sided with Biden.
He used to have a group called D12. When his best friend Proof was shot a few years back, the group broke up.
Lords of the underground " chief rocka
Yo! you really dont have to apologize every pause. its all good
Snoop dog said in his interview that Eminem isn’t even in his top 10 rappers of all time and that’s why Eminem replied to him because they were meant to be close before snoops comments but they have sorted it now
Snoop in an interview said he could live without Em entire catalogue, but more so he said it in such an aggressive tone that Em felt some type of way
It all happened over The Who Eminem had in his top 5 rappers of all time, then snoop didn’t include him in his then also said Em was a guest to the hip hop game it’s black music etc
I prefer this generation of Eminem but not gonna hide the fact that his MMLP album is his greatest ever album.
If you want to see him Slaughter Mumble rappers, listen to the ringer off of kamikaze album
Great reaction cuzzy. Big fan my dude. If u wanna hear a song he goes after mumble rappers in, ya gotta check out the ringer
snoop said he can do without EM's catalog which is crazy
He goes off on mumble rappers in Lucky You with Joyner
EM is DA G.O.A.T
Yes man... The ringer, Lucky You, Not Alike, Kamikaze and Greatest are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 AF!! They've been on my repeat list non stop!
TO ME... a LIFE long EM fan, MTBMB side a, and side b, are his BEST projects. I grew up with em, and his growth is evident. And yeh, Snoop took shots, I wanted all out war tbh. Snoop would be an easy body bag for EM. I feel like I can throw together a diss that would body bag Snoop... ala Takeover... One hot album every 30 year average lol.
To summarize, Snoop referred to Em as the "great white hope" in rap
That happened on Chronic 2001, not sure why you'd bring that up?!
@@ryanh4882 I'm going to say that Snoop has probably had that view of Eminem for a while and it summarized his more recent statements that caused a stir
@@ryanh4882 Em said in an interview that the big problem was when Snoop said that he could live without his music. Em also had a problem with how Snoop said it, it was a pretty degrading way. But on the Killer remix he says that they don't have beef anymore.
@@WanderingWriter it was actually a throw back to a mixtape Em did before Dre picked him up. The entire line went "… Hanging in the club with my nephew Eminem
What up 'cause
The Great White American Hope
Done hooked up with the King of the motherfucking West Coast, baby…" So your theory holds about as much water as a strainer, respectfully!
I watched so many reactions to this song and nobody catches the bar when he says HIT Europe kicked the door in PUT MY FOOT foot through it like a stirrup or how ever u spell it but he is talking bout the thing u put your foot threw when getting on the horse to ride
I’ll give u the like for the lighter it got me to laugh bro good video 👍🏻 keep up the work man Ull get there
Hi James I like Eminem a lot. I still think that you should check out Eminem's, song: Cleanin out my closet, video. I mentioned it to you a couple of times before. Keep up the good work 👍🇦🇺 from Dave in Australia.
Mac Miller is a legend and many consider his last album Swimming his best work.
Bruh, Mac Miller is not a legend. GTFO
The Mariah Carey beef was like 12 years ago. I don’t think he’s talking about her. But who knows Em’s been known to hold a grudge!😂
He's talking about Ms Fit... the battle rapper. She's always on MATHHOFFATV channel. She said she likes Tekashi and that she thought MGK beat Em.
Misfits once admitted to listening to Tekashi and then a few months ago sometime in 2020 when they “her and other battle rappers” were talking Eminem she said MGK washed Eminem.
Eminem watches RUclips on a regular or must I say on Saturdays and what Misfits said hit his radar.
Dude! The Em is sick mad talented. What can I say? I wuz a doubter. I wuz an Em hater. But, G-d Dayum it, he's crazy--as in crazy genius. And when he's teamed with DOCTOR Dre? It's the Lennon and Macca of Tue-Daye. And Rome Life: YOU. R. LIFE!!
Idk who told you that shit neither. The song i know of where he really attacked the game. Was in the ringer. He went bananas on that track.
The fastest diss ever. First second in and bomb... ahahah. This chorus is fire and the song.
Portugal here for the Goat Eminem always since day one and forever. Thanks for reacting. Salutes.
This chorus is my smartphone ringtone for months.
Eminem and Snoop are good now, but Snoop told in a show/interview that he could live without Emjnem shit (music) and that he is not in his top 10 rappers and stuff like that. Snoop is jealous.
Yo you gotta check out You Gon Learn on side A of this album, it's so fucking good
