He’s just chickened out. He will phrase it as negotiating but in reality he’s getting so much push back particularly in some marginal states.
This is not going to reduce prices for working class people.
Duh
Well, your gas price will be more stable. Your tax will be cut. Your city will get safer from crimes. No more crazy Dei or non binary idiocy.
3000 dollars more on a car shouldn't be a big issue.
@@cspark4602 wrong
@@cspark4602 you are delusional
@@cspark4602 how is firing half of the FBI agents going to make your city safer, your groceries are going up 25% your gas is going up 25%, enjoy the coming recession 🤡
King Trump and his MAGA inflation act. Well played fool!
The tariffs are tools to make Mexico and Canada to reduce their illegal and drug trafficking into the US. As soon as they begin these reforms the tarrifs will be lifted. They are not here for the long term

Mexico is shutting down their border and Trump is delaying the tarries. It's called negotiation!
Canada must make a deal with Asian and Europe, to send oil and gas... And cut American supplies.
It’s going to $10-20k increase per vehicle because those car dealers will gouge the buyers and make an excuse due to tariffs 🤦♂️
Consumers can’t afford that much increase, so Detroit will have to both reduce volume and sell cars at a loss.
Trump wants the US carmaker to make cars in USA and stop shipping its factories to Mexico.
Tariffs can help.
Millions of consumers have to pay.
The tariffs revenue will be used to give a tax break to the rich.
Rich get richer.
The poor voted for the tariffs.
Tesla is the one automaker not affected by these tariffs and they will be the big winner. Well over 70% of their components are made and assembled in the US, including the most expensive component, the battery. Mary Berra and her team have been a disaster and they are now witnessing their Kodak moment.
THE EMPEROR IS NAKED 😂 And everyones pretending 😂😂😂
Nobody is going to buy cars from car dealers anymore. They just care about adding extra fees and finance packages. My next car will be all cash from a private sale.
would an app that connect buyer to car seller without dealer/middle man in between work
@@vsansanv29101_sd That App already exists. It’s called Tesla.
Good interview
I'd be interested in seeing the detail behind this estimate. For example what is considered subject to the tariff? The value of the total vehicle or component as it enters the US? Or will it just be a tariff on the value added outside the United States?
There are likely smart ways to minimize the impact while still achieving the goal of incentivising US based production.
When you punch a bully in the mouth, they always back up. Don't believe the hype. This is EXACTLY how he bankrupted two casinos. You better hold on to your cash, just like the big boys on Wall Street keeping $7 TRILLION DOLLARS in money markets.
I have a feeling he’s not doing the tariffs.
lol,..Trump is playing his Master Strategy and it's going to be beautiful : )
Cars are already expensive even before Trump. Dealerships are the problem.
Buy a Tesla. It is _actually_ made in America.
Made in China but assembled in USA.
They're made in China That's why Trump only put a 10% tariff on them, did his buddy Musk a favor .
I am a MAGA man,i hate everything that uses clean energy.
@@windsong3wong828no it's made in USA
China Tesla is only for china
Sure as heck could not Afford to buy any new made in America vehicle before, most certianly will not be buying it now.
Have yet to see any vehicle made affordable to the everyday individual living on a budget, save for a bicycle..and everything service wise plus employment out here is at long distances..on average 30 miles at the shortest leg. Few want to live in the cities because well.." need not say much beyond expenses and crime granted b.s. happens out here, just not as much."
Like living on an island with all the employment on the mainland, and having a leaky row boat to reach the shore through rough seas filled with
huge freight hauling vessels plus sharks at times so to speak.
Winter makes for matters all the more diffucult.
-35°C here right now...slight wind on top of that. Supposed to last for a week or two.
Do not see such conditions changing much as the years go by.
Nor that which supports life out here getting any better due to increase of already high living expenses plus an overwhelming amount of immagration into the cities. "Got nowhere to go relocation wise." Everywhere is full up in occupancy.
People cutting back where possible well before this tarrif buisness...
Appears to be simular in parts of America from what can be seen online, however figure such luxuries as being connected to the internet will cease shortly seeing as expenses are higher to have it.
Won't be able to watch much content here myself, or go out at all like others, "nor eat as well."
Still have a battery powered radio..a few books at the library...all be it small in size. May still be free wifi access there, but doubt it will exist much longer. Payphone 20 miles at a hotel in the next town over.. "should be interesting."
Have not rode a bicycle that far in weather like this for a while due to health reasons.
Get the notion much of this is by design...
Don't think Trump has thought this through.
lol,.YOU haven't THOUGHT THIS THROUGH~
Tariffs have been used in many countries that’s not new.
Dude, do you think Canada had leverage over the United States? Lol c'mon. Canada's GDP: 2.1 trillion, Texas GDP: 2.4 Trillion, California GDP: 3.8 trillion. Please sit down and close your mouth
You are right Biruk, but you forgot one little thing.Canada ,next to Russia is the country with enormous natural resources,so go ahead, make it you enemy instead of a friend.
@valevisa8429 do you think Canada and USA need each other equally. You can't make this stuff up. We protect Canada for free
@@Biruk-n7l Protect it from whom ?!!! Only US is a threat to it.
