Operation G.H.O.S.T. Arcade

It's 2035 and the war against terrorism continues. The terrorist network known as Blue Wolf is on the rise and they have seized Uranium in an attempt to build their own nuclear weapons. Liberalists form a task force to exterminate the Blue Wolf, reclaim the uranium and stop a nuclear disaster. That task force is called G.H.O.S.T. (Global Humanitarian Operations & Special Tactics).
In Operation G.H.O.S.T., you once again take up arms as highly trained special forces who are out to stop terrorists from wreaking havoc on the public. Players must use precision shooting and quick reflexes to complete the mission, guided by their detailed firearm and Operation G.H.O.S.T’.s unique marquee targeting system. The light-gun that you wield features a switch to change between Full Auto, 3-round burst and semi-auto, each with a crosshair change to indicate which firing mode is currently selected. It also features a speaker within the gun so that players can hear vocal orders more clearly and an ‘action’ button that allows you to activate Real-Time Tactical Orders (RTOs) when they appear at the top of the screen.

Operation G.H.O.S.T. is a light gun shooter developed and published by Sega. it's the sequel to Ghost Squad and it was released for Sega RingWide in fall 2011 in USA/UK and 2012 in Japan.

played chinese language version of this game many years ago in south korea. the Train sniper sequence was one of the most memorable moments in any video game i've ever experienced in my life

It was a different time, a different enemy. Sixty men, from Tier One teams, were sent to face down a force of five hundred enemy fighters. Their objective: to force the enemy back from a civilian hospital, and keep its occupants alive. For three days, they held their ground, but the enemy's numbers were too great. The sixty were cut down to fifteen. They wouldn't last another night, and the enemy knew it. Under the cover of darkness, they evacuated the hospital, sending only one of their own to lead the way. The rest returned to the line, and took up positions beneath the bodies of their fallen brothers. As they lay in wait, the blood from the dead poured over them. The sand stuck to their skin like a shroud. Changing them. Anointing them. When the enemy drew near, the remaining fourteen rose out of the desert sand. They were like hunters that couldn't be seen, using stealth their enemies couldn't defend against. When the men ran dry of ammunition, they used their blades...and when the blades ran dull, they used their hands. When the dust and sand had settled, only one of the enemy had survived. He was picked up in the desert, wandering aimlessly, traumatised. He expressed warnings to others of a force so menacing and unbeatable, it could only be described as supernatural. He called them..."Ghosts".

I do wonder why this game never got a home console port, while the prequel which was Ghost Squad did on the Wii? The PS3 (and obviously the PS4), or the Wii U easily could have done this game with ease I'm sure too. But at least I now have, and can play it at home on my new Arcade One home gaming system though! Oh yeah! 😀

Single shot mode have crosshairs as it needs precision on firing unlike burst or full-auto which capable of point blank firing
