AJ RICE 900 SERIES | NU Blue Hammer at Paradise Lanes in South Carolina! #HammerBowling #NUBlueHammer #NotUrethane #900Series #NothingHitsLikeAHammer 🔨
That's absolutely insane. Congratulations. I've witnessed my anchor bowler shoot 900 That's absolutely crazy. I can't imagine the pressure. And they both clutched it
@@bowlersunanimous1983I'm sorry, but have you come anywhere close to a set like this? No? Oh, ok. So this has nothing to do with the amount of hands on the ball, but everything to do with practicing your craft? Got it. Thanks for the informative opinion!
@@RayzorTalon lol it works every time. Just say something about two handed bowling being inferior and they come out of the woodworks to show how brittle they are.
Congratulations! I’ve got one 300 in my 40 years of bowling. And my legs about buckled from underneath me on the last two shots. To say you were in the zone and an understatement. This is just one hell of a feet. Amazing!
Might not be sanctioned a sanctioned event but just knowing that you've accomplished a 900 series is something that you can cherish the rest of your life even if your not going to get any recognition from a sanctioning body.
That's wild...here I am struggling for mids 200s and no 300 games and my man rolls three consecutively that's INSANE! CONGRATS though, don't think I could throw that many consistent shots if I tried! 😂😂
Ive only got one 300, made the 7-10 split twice but once was the 7-10 from the 6,7,10 split lol, and a 750 high series. I was in the bowling center Firebird Lanes way back in the day as a kid when the 5th 900 series was shot. James Hilton was on fire.
Never gonna be a fan of the 2 handed silly style but i will always give credit and respect when due, ive always been a 1 hander and ive messed around a time or 2 trying and it is definitely not easier to get that good at, it feels so awkward. This is incredible no doubt
When you bowl 800+ series on PBA patterns then I'll clap 😊 Most high average league bowlers would never navigate the uncharted territories of PBA patterns haha
Congrats! Cant fathom throwing 36 straight strikes. You'd either have to be extremely lucky or anticipate the lanes breaking down and make the proper moves before throwing a bad shot
From the looks of the other scores on the lanes it may not have been the hardest lanes in the world. With that said, I averaged 216 in the last league I bowled and have several 300 games during that league, but if you gave me the easiest lanes in the world every single week for the entire season I likely wouldn’t even come close to a 900 all year. That is some seriously great bowling no matter what the lane conditions are. Good for him.
And here at League I had 29 out of 36 for a 760 something and I felt like a beast this is just simply badass locked in doesn't matter whether there was traffic he's the only one on that side doesn't matter to make 36 shots in a row to be that accurate and still have to adjust throughout those three games just goes to show when you're passionate about something and you work at it whether you're Pro or not you can achieve greatness as this is
I guess I don’t really care that much at the end of the day but something just feels wrong about using two hands. It doesn’t feel like bowling anymore to me, personally.
Appx. 40 900 sanctioned series and according to the internet around 2 million members of ABC gives you a. 000002%. Give thus guy the credit he deserves. Unreal😵💫😵💫😵💫
Asked to get it sentient, pretty good chance that young kid in Southern California in Norco did it during a make up which doesn't count and he did it in a different house than league was....... So by all means follow the paperwork and send it in
I personally do not like two handed bowler, I feel like they’re ruining the game. But rolling a 900 is a very awesome thing and hard thing to accomplish.
Speed, where your planted foot ends up, resulting angle, loft, revs -- there's a lot more than one variable in getting to the pocket. Sometimes it's more of a feeling than a science. I don't count boards and my delivery isn't perfect every time, but even with my inconsistency more often than not I get to the pocket.
He probably gets 0 handicap so his max is 900. Last year my league had a 920 handicap and prior to Covid a guy on my team had a 905. Honestly I don't think it's fair that handicap should be able to beat a natural 300 or 900 but that is the way of a lot of leagues.
People started using two hands because it's easier to generate revs or they can't make the ball hook with just one hand... Just look at the PBA logo and you'll know the real way you're supposed to bowl
I don’t care if anyone says those are the easiest lanes ever, it’s a house hack, etc, bowling a 900 is amazingly hard. From the other scores it appears the lanes weren’t the hardest, however, even with the easiest lanes in the face of the earth you would have to be a very top player and have a bit of luck on your side to shoot 900. Congrats on the amazing day! I hope it was sanctioned.
That's absolutely insane. Congratulations.
I've witnessed my anchor bowler shoot 900 That's absolutely crazy. I can't imagine the pressure.
And they both clutched it
For you 2 handed haters, he had an 898 series as a 1 hander before he switched
You're right we're just better
@@silasmoats hi silas
All I hear is “he never would have gotten 900 with 1 hand and a thumb”.

Imagine being the low guy on your pair averaging 230... Oh my god
Lol yup
The 5 man Swiss here in Dublin is 5 man scratch teams
The worst guy on each team is 220-230
When you're a 230 average and know you ain't s***.
My knees would be knocking heartbeat at 1000 beats per second...props to the man
Damn dude, crushed that 10th. Welcome to a club 99.9% can only dream about. Congratulations .
I’ve only come close to one 300 my whole year of bowling around my 5th month in I got 267 haven’t bowled that good since 😭😂
Probably closer to 99.999999% (think 1 in a billion), but yeah, insanely rare accomplishment (900 series = 3 x 300 games) :)
Alot more 9’s in that percentage bro
I’m amazed it kept its surface long enough for a 900 series.
Check out Ron- With True cut out of Chicago he used to be storms guru
Probably one of top 5 amateur bowlers on the country
That team looks dangerous, not one person had a handicap and hitting over 230 damn
Doesn't even matter. The fact that he did it is amazing
"and we still went 0-4" would be wild but relatable 😂
100000%….
I think after that then a lose , I'D have to fight EVERYONE In the bowling alley!
Lol
This was in a tournament he did this while switching pairs
@@joshuastanek1533 lol the switching pairs thing is actually less impressive as a lefty
It re oils the lane essentially

AJ along with so many other bowlers I know around the world are phenomenal. Mykel Holliman, George Gohagan III and many more I can name 👏🏾😉

About 50 folks out of 8.8 Billion on the planet are in the Bowling 900 club!!❤😊
Nice Going.💪
OMG, 3 perfect game
That Balls pretty Fun..Just knowing the Cores a Purple hammer 😊Brings a smile to my face..
Finally! Someone to edit his 12 minutes it took to finish his 10th frame
Three of the best 10th frame shots I’ve seen for 900.
Is it true this wasn’t sanctioned? Absolutely incredible. Congrats.
That's wild...here I am struggling for mids 200s and no 300 games and my man rolls three consecutively that's INSANE! CONGRATS though, don't think I could throw that many consistent shots if I tried! 😂😂
Congratulations!!!!!!!! What a throw at that, wish I got to witness that, greatness at its truly best! Keep shooting the lights out
Absolutely freaking magnificent!👏🏽 🎉
Congratulations AJ!!!!
No words simply incredible

Great bowling, but what would suck is if ABC comes and finds out the lands are blocked. Seen that so many times
Buried all three of those in the 10th too. Awesome job!!

Love that alley
900 series is insane man
Now that's bowling!
Might not get his ring till the end of summer. The way things run now days, big congrats.

CONGRADS 🎉🎈
Congrats! Cant fathom throwing 36 straight strikes. You'd either have to be extremely lucky or anticipate the lanes breaking down and make the proper moves before throwing a bad shot
Depends on the traffic. If it was him all by himself on the left all he has to do is “lock in”. Easier said that done obviously. But yeah
From the looks of the other scores on the lanes it may not have been the hardest lanes in the world. Congrats 🎉🍾 Brody way to stroke that thing 🫡🎳
That crazy I would have been screaming if I bowled a 900 series
Sage mode activated
Outstanding!
2 handed 300s and 900s should be in a different category
That's amazing
Insane shooting super congrats.
Nice!!!
I'm guessing at this point but I'm gonna say he's gonna be getting more 900s in the future!
Insane. Congrats man! 🎉
You’ve basically beat the game
when ur in a groove
Whoever drilled that ball 🤌
Super insane good for him
Nice scoreboard. Hardest oil pattern EVER.
Nice AJ
Haters =sadness. This is a lifetime accomplishment that mosr will never sniff. Therefore those whom envy hate on what they cannot do nor achieve ..
And a southpaw too
😮
legend has it that he still hasnt missed to this day
lame old joke
I guess I don’t really care that much at the end of the day but something just feels wrong about using two hands. It doesn’t feel like bowling anymore to me, personally.
crazy man
I'm happy when I bowl 900 in 2 weeks. I need to step my game up. Haha!
Jeez… big respect 🤙🏻
Nice!
Paradise lanes is probably one of the easiest houses in the us but 900 is flipping crazy
I knew blue hammer and lefty had a nice ring to it
Of course, A J is capable of doing this.
I had a 900 series in 9 pin no tap over the summer, only 5 9pin strikes 🤷🏾♂️
🙌🏼💯
Dang even I haven’t shot that good in 5 pin my best series is a 724 in 10 it was only a 549
NU Blue Hammer: Ask the man who owns one!
Yo solo veo un 300, ¿donde aparece el dato del total de sus tres líneas?
Is that good? It seems good.
Appx. 40 900 sanctioned series and according to the internet around 2 million members of ABC gives you a. 000002%. Give thus guy the credit he deserves. Unreal😵💫😵💫😵💫
Now he is required to start using 900 global balls
💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾🎊🎊🎊🎊
And keep in mind, this was a tournament where they moved right each game, then shot front 4, 239 game 4
Must have been a super easy shot. Like insanely easy.
Congrats to the guy who conditioned the lanes
Asked to get it sentient, pretty good chance that young kid in Southern California in Norco did it during a make up which doesn't count and he did it in a different house than league was....... So by all means follow the paperwork and send it in
How come he's 900 series is not in the Wikipedia
I personally do not like two handed bowler, I feel like they’re ruining the game. But rolling a 900 is a very awesome thing and hard thing to accomplish.
I think you just won bowling.
Try doing it on a Tour pattern !!
Going for 900 and people still bowling a few lanes down. Maybe a normal 300 but on a 900 u stop and witness history
Must be nice to hit three different marks and have the ball track right into the pocket each time.

Heard it was unsanctioned, so while wildly impressive, means as much as open bowling.
Suffice to say, I'd hate to be the team bowling against them THAT night! No amount of handicap would have helped!
He probably gets 0 handicap so his max is 900. Last year my league had a 920 handicap and prior to Covid a guy on my team had a 905. Honestly I don't think it's fair that handicap should be able to beat a natural 300 or 900 but that is the way of a lot of leagues.
The game has changed so much thx to the usbc! side is always tough for a one or two hander. LOL😂 . Hate on me because I can take it!
.
This is league im assuming? Those scores are crazy
Tough Game...
People started using two hands because it's easier to generate revs or they can't make the ball hook with just one hand...

What’s your drill layout? Need it asap please
😂never herd of aj rice
Mine doesn’t even have a 300 on it yet, must be because I’m a righty.
a little tougher for sure on league nights
Talk about walled up
Bro the lowest score on the board was 237 LOL
Must have been some easy scoring lanes with amateur numbers like this. Not to mention he hit board 11, 13 then 12 at the arrows.
Public bowlers a few lanes over wondering why he’s screaming.
Must b3 nice but those handicaps kill the high averagers lol
