Hello, I really enjoyed the review I was going to buy liric 1, but I'm waiting for the release of 2 in Korea. Is there a lot of improvement in 2 compared to 1 and 2? If there is no significant change compared to 1, I'm going to buy 1
Way too early in the year to call this the best closed-back of 2024. Caldera Closed will make that statement sound foolish in a few months. Audeze is still releasing and DCA E3 just launched as well. Good review otherwise.
@@Mr1stcat Hilarious take. Meze is known for unbelievably weak dynamics. Literally none of their headphones have slam. E3 is noticeably superior in almost all aspects of sound to the original Liric except comfort and even then is no slouch compared to the Liric. It looks like all this version did is make the tuning warmer by adding a front dampener on the transducer trace. I’m still excited to hear the Liric II but I’m not holding my breath for greatness and I certainly won’t be calling it “Closed Back headphone of the year” in March. We’re three months into the year with tons of new announcements coming.
@@TheWorldTeacher He hasn’t. There’s maybe 30 people in the world right now that have units and all of them are part of the affiliate review program. Meze dealers don’t even have units yet so @Mr1stcat is talking out of his ass. Preorders don’t ship until Friday so the first people to get them in hand will be at this weekends CanJam in NY on Saturday.
Man, nice review! The art back there is gorgeous! -mj
The headphones look so nice. And btw, you really remind me of Matt O`Doud from PBS Space Time 😅 nice vid!
Haha. That's a first, but I can kind of see it. :)
Heard the comfort is unmatched and great for going out. Would choose it just for that
Ordered from you!

Audeze makes sharp shouty garbage headphones and the DCE3 is weak in dynamics 🤣 the liric 2 is far superior in all these aspects
