    Discover this 25.5-mile out-and-back trail near Quinault, Washington. Generally considered a challenging route. This is a very popular area for backpacking, camping, and hiking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are March through September. You'll need to leave pups at home - dogs aren't allowed on this trail.

      YEP, they got big ol trees up yonder. I miss it. Not enough to live there again, but enough to go wander that again. It's like you're just waiting for a dinosaur to show up, it's so undisturbed.

      There are only 4 privys in that entire 14 mile stretch of trail; otherwise you are squatting over a cat hole behind a tree.

    I was going to do this trail but the permits were sold out for months! I've heard they always check permits on this trail.

      @@DestinationUnknown4x4 we went just prior to it being permitted. Like the week before! It's worth the wait though
