@@pac1fic055 haha i will! It finally got to the point i am able to pick her up saturday! Which is exciting. I might even make a video about the car, depends if i dont forgrt that hahah.
@@pac1fic055 @whitegoodman7465 Well, late reaction but i got her now for some time and its better then i expected, couple things went not as planned. The car inspector didnt want to give a pass to the car. But my importer went high up to this and won against the inspectors. After all that the car drives smoothly as expected. And they say its slow, to me i get pressed into my seat. This car is great, no doubt aboit that. Experience is great, and would recommend this car to everyone.
Ive never found much information about this cars performance other than hp and torque, after a year i thought to myself, maybe there is a RUclips video about this car And then boom, this video uploaded 30 mins ago 😂 Thank you for uploading this
Wonderful video, something I had been really interested to know, the rpm when cruising. I note that the 2008 Lexus ISF, also a 5 litre, but V8 with 8 speed auto, cruises at around 2000rpm at 120kmph, 1500rpm at 90kmph, 1250rpm at 80kmph. The power and torque figures of the ISF is much higher, but the rpm is higher than the Century 5 litre V12, for the same speed of cruising (even at the highest gear). Shows the excellence of the V12
Smoothness of the ride is what's more important trust me.I have an 86 Toyota Century with 41,000 miles.I could care less about the acceleration. So quiet and smooth. I've driven everything from Porsche 918s to Rolls Royce. These cars are as smooth as a Rolls and actually quieter.I bought my car as a daily driver everywhere I go people stop and talk to me about the car.I had no idea it would get this much attention
The 1GZ-FE engine has smaller displacement and it wasn't built for performance, but mainly for superbly smooth power delivery and reliability. But it's got tons of potential. Smokey Nagata installed one in a Toyota Supra and added two turbochargers, plus a few other things...and it's got about 950 hp. Hartley Engines from New Zealand has a lot of aftermarket support for this unit too, and some of their builds go beyond 1,200 hp and 10,000 rpm (!!!) in some drift cars. Amazing project.
All of these tests and measurements are wrong! The speedometer of cars is not accurate. You need a GPS performance meter to measure true acceleration. By the way, This car is slower than a 40 year-old E32 750i!!!
The startup is truly the most majestic noise ever
I always love startup motor's noise on V12s, almost always identical and iconic
So true, most of the V12s have this high-pitched starter sound, makes me shiver.
Cant wait to drive my own century, waiting for her to arrive here soon.
Fell in love with it since i was small, and now i finally bought one.
Tell us how it went!

i do love a good luxury barge like this
When you have this much class you want to accelerate slowly and majestically.
Scare your council with v12 acceleration as he adjusts the electric rear seat, watching Raid the movie in the back
Road surface is wet. Well shouldn’t have to worry about traction being an issue.
Why hp is less than Lexus Ls 430 which has a V8
The ole "276" horsepower ones aye 😏🤣
