I’m white and have very straight hair but I get so happy to see this kind of inclusivity, especially in the asmr community. Asmr can be such an intimate thing and I haven’t seen much representation for poc in videos that white people make.
Because asmr can be so intimate and personal, it’s very special to see white people notice and include poc and their hair types

Im sorry to hear about your experience with hairdressers as a child. It reminds me of others making fun of me and being grossed out by my birthmark. if it’s plastic hair then fabric conditioner diluted with water may work! i washed a synthetic wig with it and it helped (but i’m definitely no expert so maybe fact check that 😅)

I was looking for this comment that's exactly what works with synthetic wigs diluted fabric softener it makes it really soft. Also you can find products online for synthetic hair like shampoo and other stuff. I don't have 4c hair but did went thru my synthetic wig era. Love your channel and so does my son !!!!
You don’t even know how helpful this is I have one and had no clue how to wash it do I soak it or just wash it like any other wig but with fabric softener?
@@perfectionakinwande6623 I am super inexperienced so definitely check other places for more info but I soaked it for a while and then hand washed it in a tub/bucket under the shower and it seemed to do the job!

In my cosmo class we have a set of curly haired manikins and we put product in it so when we graduate and get our license we will know how to do everyone’s hair. It’s not that difficult to get the product out if you wanna put it in but anyways love the video! 😘🫶🏿

You can use detangler for the product &/or get a spray bottle & mix water & a little bit of conditioner… also a wide tooth comb. Maybe blow dry it out one day. The smaller the parts the easier
