Oh my goodness, Alwyn, when you talked about find trees when we were young and said "this is my kitchen" etc, it unlocked a core memory within me. I remember that there was a copse of olive trees in a big wide space close to my childhood home, and there was this one particular olive tree split in two (it had separately grown into two trunks with the same roots,, i always find this kind of trees to be particularly magical in nature), I always climbed on it and I called it my "magic house" and I had specific areas that were designated as the "rooms" of my home, I had the kitchen and dining room at the bottom where the trunks were split, then the living room on the left because it was more easily accessible and then the bedroom was on the right trunk because it had a wide enough bough that I could sit and lean back on and kind of take a nap. The bathroom was "outside" (lol) and the chamomile, wild daisies and yellow bell flowers surrounding the tree were my garden. Thank you for reminding me of how magical my childhood was! 🥰💖

🌲🍀🐾🦉🦌there's an extension of fables wood along the banks of the Kishwaukee river where I go wade fishing. when I get out of the water to snack & rest, I've come across carpets of blue bells (not sure which variety) & downed and standing trees with vines, lots of owls too! Hi Alwyn, loved your video, so 1:35 magical at this time of year! Just a little heads up, the Lily if the Valley plant is actually Solomons Sea, although I've never seen it in the woods. It attracts a black fly call a Sawfly, which lays its eggs on the plant. When they hatch the larvae are grey with a black head, and they basically devour the plant!!! Hope you are well my lovely xxx

I don’t remember if the Fae Woods is on your property, but you will be happy to know that the fairies will be going with the person who dug up the blue bells. I would say the horse tails as you call it is a very invasive plant. So that person will be having fun getting rid of that in their garden.
It's always wonderful to follow you on your adventures. You really have an enchanting forest there! The bluebells are beautiful and so different from the ones we have in Sweden where I live. And the ivy!! So enchanting and magical. Just a heads up, that last plant in the video is not a lily of the valley, but a Salomon's seal. I understand they are somewhat similar in a way. Just compare pictures of both and you'll see the difference. 🥰 I can't wait to explore more of the forest with you!

Hi Alwyn, loved your video, so 1:35 magical at this time of year! Just a little heads up, the Lily if the Valley plant is actually Solomons Sea, although I've never seen it in the woods. It attracts a black fly call a Sawfly, which lays its eggs on the plant. When they hatch the larvae are grey with a black head, and they basically devour the plant!!! Hope you are well my lovely xxx

Interesting you found a sword branch and there is a sword formation rising up from the faerie village. It was disturbing to see that big cut out area - what in the world... I remember growing up on my father’s ranch and by the creek there was a oak tree much like the fairy head quarter one you shared with us.
I was amazed by it when I was a child I knew it was fairy haven. And if you can believe it, there was a pot in it like a pot of gold.

I don’t remember if the Fae Woods is on your property, but you will be happy to know that the fairies will be going with the person who dug up the blue bells. I would say the horse tails as you call it is a very invasive plant. So that person will be having fun getting rid of that in their garden.

It's always wonderful to follow you on your adventures. You really have an enchanting forest there! The bluebells are beautiful and so different from the ones we have in Sweden where I live. And the ivy!! So enchanting and magical. Just a heads up, that last plant in the video is not a lily of the valley, but a Salomon's seal. I understand they are somewhat similar in a way. Just compare pictures of both and you'll see the difference. 🥰
