Yes, I'm a font/text lover and I really needed the Position/Alt/Arrows feature! The Noise Slider I had noticed and have used it once in a design. I haven't used Noise and Opacity together. In order for Add Chord To Swatch to work, I figured out that I had to create an unnamed palette first. I saw that you had one and I thought that it created itself. I had seen Save History but haven't used it. I understand Compound Shapes better now thanks to your simple guidelines and explanations. I think what helps the most is how you show what would or wouldn't happen when doing something, instead of only telling us how to do it. Thanks again!

Hi thanks for the great videos. I been looking for an answer. Hopefully you can help me out. I use affinity for digital scrapbooking. However, I cannot figure out how to do a clipping mask from a picture into a png? For sample I have a frame in png format I place picture inside but nothing happens. Is there a way without shapes to clip a picture into a frame. Sometimes the frames have irregular shapes. Thank you for all you do.
If I'm understanding right then I don't think you need to use a clipping mask. If you want the frame to be around the picture then make sure the picture is underneath the frame in the layer panel, and then select both the frame and the picture and make them into a group (shortcut CTRL G) If you clipping mask it then the picture will only be visible where the frame is rather than inside the frame like a picture frame should be. And since it's a PNG the clipping won't even do that properly so if you want to have the frame around the picture then your best bet is to align it how you want and make them into a group 👍🏽
@@BrownBearProductions Now, my additional question to this is that it works like @iviaqua tried at first if it's a simple object, right? Or if the frame was designed with shape tools? To test my understanding, I created a rectangle, removed the fill and increased the stroke. Then I uploaded an image and scaled it to completely cover the rectangle and then made it a child layer (is a child layer and a clipping mask the same thing?). It did what I expected. It went into the rectangle. I think that some time ago I tried to do what @iviaqua did.
Yes if you're creating the frame itself then it should work how you want, only if the frame is brought in as a PNG or external image it may not work as intended
