I really hope this series continues at a steady comfortable pace for Hiroe, I re-read the last volume & saw in his commentary the he was struggling for a better part of the series in terms of writing & almost came close to calling it quits. I don't mind waiting a while for the new chapters to come out even if it took years, I really want Black Lagoon as a whole to be the best it can be. There isn't any other manga/anime series out there that compares or comes close to the rawness & classyness of its nature. If I had to compare Black Lagoon to anything it would be right on par with great Hollywood movies like Pulp Fiction & Reservoir Dogs. Keep doing great Hiroe!!

We anime lovers give Ocean a lot of shit for the Dragonball dub, but they did the Gundam series so much justice since then, then death note, then black lagoon. At this point, I would say that they are better than Funimation. In some cases, they may not be as good, but they add this human element that Funimation just doesn't seem to provide. When you are watching the American dubbing, you know that it's an anime, but when you watch the ocean dubbing, it feels honest. Also, Canadians are fucking terrifying!!!!!!!!!!
