LOVEBITES live performances have almost studio quality. Overall, they are even better than studio (with audio interactions, improvisations, etc.).
Their live performances are absolutely amazing! The main singer hits every note flawlessly!
This track has pretty much everything - a seamless and innovative blend of AOR/heavy rock, speed-power metal, and a bit of thrash thrown in at the breakdown before the solos. At the same time, it's got a catchy hook to make this an awesome LIVE song in the making. BTW, from the same new EP "Lovebites EP II", the band will drop another song/MV called "Soul Defender" in a few days on August 12.

You could call this one Don't Bite the Dust 2" Don't Bite the Dust was the first song on Lovebites EP and this in the first song on Lovebites EP II. Watch for Soul Defender on August 12th and the whole Lovebites EP II on August 28th along with the Live CD/DVD Memorial for the Warrior Souls on August 28th.
I think this is the only time they took a brief break before ripping into guitar solos. Yes!!! Woah, the guitar solos are extra good listening on this. I have to keep rewinding the video and turning up the volume to maximize that sound. cheers mate 🍻
I used to rewind songs for the lyrics and never the instruments and that's changed since listening to love bites. They're so good that you just might miss something special in their songs along the way and have to hear it a 3rd or 4th or 5th time. They're sooo good I love them!
Mostly MV's are an initial offering of a new composition performed by the artist, and the visuals are there just to augment or enhance the ambiance and feel of the song to excite the emotional sensations. Some aberrations and disparity is common, such as non-synchronized instances between sight and sound. As music is primarily for the ears first, so its best to discount the out-of-sync visual appeal designed into Mv's. For a seamless performance, that is evaluated only via live shows. And on this aspect, in heavy metal, no one does it better currently: Who else, if its not Lovebites 🤣🤣
I really appreciate your reactions to mind-blowing Lovebites. They are extraordinary musicians with so much talent and skills. My next recommendations are “Judgement day”, “Set the world on fire”, “Thunder vengeance”, “Break the wall” (all live)

Great review. I pretty much agree with you about the mixing and Miyako's tapping which can be also the matter of the mixing. They changed mixing in lives befor the hiatus and after. Namely DVD Heavy Metal Never Dies is before and Knockin' At The Heaven's Gate is after. I'm kind of frustrated about recent mixings. Old videos are better soundwise. About the tapping, I actually hear the tapping after the guitar solo but very faintly. It happens with their MVs but alright in live versions. Here's good example. Miyako does great tapping riff in The Crusade but it is hardly audible in the MV.

Noone is hearing Miyako's finger tipping there (or at least, it's extremely low compared to the main riff)! You are not the first to mention that!

Yes I heard the finger tapping but it was under the main riff so not as prominent

you´re the second reactor that has trouble with the tapping part - dunno why... it´s very clear actually -might be your settings or something ....
The tapping is faint especially in the first part of the chorus (be free...) but it's clearer by the second part (the future...)

The finger tapping you see on the video is from another part of the song, you can hear the tapping, it just doesn't match up to the video. A mistake in the editing as I see it. Music videos are not live, they are either miming and/or playing live in the video studio, which is independent of the album studio version, which is what you are actually hearing.

I think it's not a mistake.. the visual throughout the song is all match with the audio, it's just sound mixing that matter here.. Miyako tapped in two parts, first she tapped in a low notes on up strings (4-6th string) so it's hard for us to hear that, but it's there if you really listen.. and the second part she tapped in a higher octave at the same notes on down strings (1-3rd string) so we can clearly hear that..
This is a common thing in a recording studio production.. wait until they perform this song live, it'll be different...
