Respect is earned. Heywood's review was questionable in its integrity. He never asked to see the Police Log to ascertain whether Andrew Mitchell was telling the truth. He hid behind his "remit". Things must be handled better in the future. Heywood didn't ask enough questions. The entire matter was so badly handled it cost Mitchell his job and of course much of his money after he lost the Court case.
