The Arabic words of this poem are composed by Al Firdous Ensemble and feature in their album, ‘Nur.’ It is an adaptation of an Algerian song, ‘Qum tara.’
Gharnātiya means from Granada and refers to the era in Spanish history when Muslims governed Andalusia.
