The best remedy Ive gotten for gear fear is legit losing a boatload of gear. I went on a losing streak and I lost all my armor but 1 set of the black pistol armor, lost an Alpha and pretty much all of my meds. Now that ive earned most of that back it dont bother me at all to kit up every raid and lose every 2 or 3 raids

People play naked with the same mindset as they do geared, my thing is when you go in naked you have a general mindset whether it’s getting better gear or getting a valuable, but when you go in geared you have a specific mindset on something you wanna do if you go in geared not knowing what you want you’re most likely just gonna roam and to fight someone and probably die. My thing to fight gear fear is to just run naked until I get so much stuff that losing a tier 6 or losing and kitted gun doesn’t even matter because I have so much loot, I’m at a point right now where I have no space to put my weapons if that includes the normal storage plus weapons storage

Idk how people earn money early on in the game I end up losing more than I win so I spend about a week doing naked raids to make 50k I never seem to find valuable items and the times I do there’s always an extraction camper I’m only level 9 I’m hoping it gets a little better when I can make some passive money then I might be able to take some cheap gear in with me
