- "Hero has entered the family 125cc scooter segment with the Destini 125. It is India’s most affordable 125cc scooter on sale with the base model priced at Rs 54650 and for roughly three thousand rupees more, you get alloy rims. The Destini 125 is the only scooter in India to get a start/stop feature as Hero’s patented i3S tech makes its way down from their motorcycles. 8.83PS and 10.2Nm is produced from its 125.6cc single-cylinder engine. It gets a remote opening system for its fuel filler cap as well as the seat. It does miss out on a few features like LED lighting and a front brake disc variant.

I have been using Hero Destini 125 bs6 for 1 year now, I usually use this scooter for city commute, mileage before first service was 46 km/ltr in city, post second service it has shoot up to 67 km/ltr. Its idle start stop feature works absolutely fine, till date I did not face any issues with it. I do not regret for 10 inch wheel or not having disc breake, since its riding dynamics is awesome and breaking is also very good. Its body balance is just fabulous, I thinks its the most value for money scooter in 125cc segment and the most underrated....
It is definitely better than Activa. Atleast hero is not making the buyers fool by offering less features and high on pricing.

The performance 125cc scooters like grazia, ntorq and aprilia 125 takes about 7 secs to reach 0-60 kmph (by personal usage) for destiny i think it'll be around 9 secs

Hero's fuel tank cover opening technology is bad, sometime it stuck and cannot lock the cap remains open, no matter how many times it is pressed.

Don't buy any Hero products.Hero Moto Corp is cheaper company. They sale used product at full price. 125 cc doesn't give good pick up.
