Back in 2007-2008 I was doing automation before static mix, and then tune levels by gains.. don't ask me for reasons 😀

Another informative video to end the series. Previously I had no set process & was always frustrated with my overly processed sounding mixes. I’ve been following along using this 6 step process on a song I’m working on & it’s easily the best mix I’ve done, plus I feel more in control. It’s all making a lot more sense now! Thanks Colin.

Thanks! A quick question on this one: I noticed on your Adaptive Limiter you had the setting "Remove DC Offset" on. I tried it on and off and found I preferred it on, but I'm don't know what it's actually doing. Do you know what it's doing and is it just something you're supposed to leave on all the time?

a real disappointment to me because I am not yet in Logic, as soon as you change to automation the bright coloured track turns dark.
