One year, many years ago, my hubby came home with 30+ pheasant, then had been in cold storage ready to go to a buyer and cold storage went up the creek so they needed to be cooked, so christmas eve he plucked and gutted them, then christmas day and boxing day, as well as cooking what we were going to eat I cooked 30+ pheasant too, in trays of 4 at a time. I did it because we didn't want all that meat to go to waste, I make a mean casserole or curry, but I promised him, if he every and I mean Every did that to me again, it would be the last thing he would every do. Only occasionally he will bring me a brace, 2 birds, 1 male, 1 female. But I sort of went off the taste and now my daughter, now 23, won't eat it, in any shape or form. He has got better with the gifts he buys but that christmas will stay with me forever. Great to have you back. Have a great Christmas and New year and can't wait for you to be throwing clay again. I am going to get my mom of 86 years young to help me make some of these! She is currently in a home and has dementia but loves to help me cut out things with cutters and loves to smooth them with the sheet aka pillowcase 😂…. We made ornaments this yr but of course I didn’t organize my brain in time for them to be fired before Christmas 🎄 Sooo we will be ahead of the game for next year! One never knows what the future holds sooo making memories with lots of pictures!! She is going to love making angels 👼 sooo thank you once again for the inspiration,!❤🇨🇦

I have a question - when I cut out circles with cookie cutters, the edge is uneven where the pieces of metal overlap. Is there a way to avoid that or fix it? Have a wonderful Christmas!
I'm just hanging them on a high fire rod that I get from my clay supplier. The rod is balanced on top of posts. If you watch one of my kiln unloading videos in Nov/Dec you'll see how I fire them.

Would you advise how you suspend the angels in the kiln? I have noticed in some of your videos you have suspended items from a rod? Can you advise regarding the rod/material and how did you get it placed in the kiln without it falling down? Many thanks in advance. Alison Brown
I use high fire rods you can get from your clay supplier. I do have to be careful not to put too much weight on them or they will bend in the kiln. It's a balancing act. 😀

Not glazed, but they're on one of the kiln openings, which shows how I fired them.
