Mobay is Trap Dancehall birth place that gave Jamaica this new sound in Dancehall , Western Jamaica producers change the sound of Jamaican Music Today 🎶
Munga started singing this trap hip hop dancehall bout 10 to 15 yrs ago....I would say he got the original flow but am happy to hear everyone's opinion
As a Bahamian whose visited Jamaica many times and always had a love for Jamaican music, I will say that this documentary was long overdue. Please turn it into a mini docu-series. The world needs to see more of the behind the scenes and what goes into this art of trap dance hall. The Bahamas is quite far behind, still listening to a lot of traditional old school dance hall. But we need this... we need to see these artists in all their glory, learn the back stories. And a whole documentary can be done about the "camps" and how that plays into music now. And then branch off to the Trinibad... and their camps too. It's a major revolution in dance hall and the world is waiting to find out more. This gave me goosebumps in a good way. . . Well done. Anxiously awaiting more. 🙏🙏❤️❤️🔥🔥
BIG UP ALL TRAP DANCEHALL MUSIC 🎶 ITS FOR THE YOUNG GENERATION OF START WE DO RESPECT OLD SCHOOL BUT TRAP IS OUR WAY OF EXPRESSING OUR FEELING'S BIG UP FOR THIS DOCUMENTARY
Beautiful story telling…. Professional presentation of A Raw Product and culture we call “Dancehall” so that this can garner international appreciation because it was so masterfully composed and clearly translated… 🔥🔥🔥
Powerful, love to hear the perspective of the people who are actually creating through a genre such as “trap dancehall”. Most of all happy to see the youth who all have different experiences connecting through music. Big up the whole Spain town too🔥Love
This is so interesting want to see more educational videos like this on youtube to keep a positive perspective of dancehall music(trap music) atake the lead in dancehall right now!!!!!🔥🔥🔥💥💥👽👽
Please to continue to do more videos or documentaries like this and try to get as most artists in it This is a beauty for Jamaica and the world keep up the good work 🕯🕯
Level of Production and editing on this is INSANE. The Color palette you chose is perfect for the nature of the content... I love that you didnt crowd it with background music either, just the real raw ambient sounds. This should go viral! Top Job Nathan
Love this!!!❤️ First interview I have watched about my country within Jamaica or mentioned about Jamaica outside of Jamaica 🇯🇲 othat hasn’t edited everything was true, raw and outspoken.❤️ #trapdancehall Andrew lowe the boy them mek dhem make life fihh themselves!!!! Soon everybody aguhh rich as wehh Navas sehh🙏🏼❤️. Unuhh just gwaan wull the faith yahh dawq ….. just do wehh work fihh unuh & can provide food on the table & put money inna unuhh pocket💯💴
One cannot knock the Jamaican talent but the content of the music and mindset of the youths are a very sad state of affairs - worse the comments. I suggest part two should measure 1. The social impact of the music 2. Cover the statistical success of trying artiste.
To all Producers and Artist who's reading this... Believe in what you're doing and continue to chase your dream to the fullest 💯✨ No Giving up! We got this! Blessings 🙏👏🙌
This was so GREAT!! As a Jamaican working in the US music industry this was so refreshing to see the artists being captured in this style. Our country needs more documenting and journalism like this. Bravo Nathan!! Looking forward to more of your work!
i neva used to be into this new sound of dancehall but this year i've really been taking notice and it has grown on me. The more i've been hearing it the more i like it i cant lie. Skeng was the first artist i heard that made me take notice. Big up the new generation, trap dancehall is the new wave!! Let the youngas do there ting
Powerful bredda, a documentary is supposed to hit you and give you the perspective of the people at hand. As a jamaican, this type of perspective hits so closely to home, from growing up and seeing the evolution of music in jamaica, from being in the street life and experiencing different sides of different parishes, cities, culture in jamaica has diversified in many different aspects. This hit home for me, reminding me of the good and bad parts of my days there, and how much the music has influenced it all. Lyrics in Trap Dancehall are what we use to express what’s actually happening in the streets, communities and organizations in jamaica. It is essential to have this type of sound, as it highlights the struggles and difficulties it takes to be a successful and developed youth in the country. Amazing Documentary, 10/10.
Dancehall is bigger than any generation and the new generation embodies that. These artist are taking Dancehall to another level. Do your thing youths 🔥
