Was the brutality of Angstrom actually "that" brutal, or was it just Mark's reaction that made it seem more than it was? Not showing the rest adds to the viewer imagination which pushes it towards the more brutal side from our POV.
while I don't necessarily disagree debbie shouldn't take him back, the fact that there's a sort of parallel with mark wrestling with his darker side and nolan being forced to face his feelings and wrestle with his terrible deeds means there could be an interesting interaction. Nolan may end up pulling mark back from the edge, which could help debbie forgive him. There's also the chance that nolan sacrifices himself for the two of them that lets debbie forgive him without them getting together. I think there's a few ways they can nolan redemption without forcing it, as well as other twists they could do that we don't expect. But i'm a huge fan of the inter-character relationships in this show and how real everything feels.
My thoughts during this video: Great deconstruction of S2. TEAM DEBBIE!!!!!!!! Truly she is a well-written character and I think a lot of media and video games fall short on writing women. Invincible is one of the shows that has not failed in that department. She is not defined by being a mother or a wife and just putting a smile on during times of hardship. She is a person who is experiencing very real and high-tense emotions like the rest of the characters in the show! They have done a great job at giving everyone their moment. I really wanted Rex to die cause I thought he was a douchebag, but then he HAD to go through character development and now will probably be getting back with Eve. I want to read the comics too but am torn about either keeping up with the show or reading past it. Also where the heck did you get the Twitch name thingy? Looks cool

I found the battle with Angstrom to be super stressful rather than fun and enjoyable hahaha But that means it served its purpose, I suppose :P
Also, the final episode shows how Invincible, Mark, and Debbie all had a black eye on the same eye.
Dude you’re right. I will never get over how great the parallels were this season

I fully trust that whatever happens the writers will make it believable. I’d be shocked if they write themselves into a corner.

What you said about Debbie and the fact that I don’t hate Rex anymore is proof of how amazing the writing is on the show.
Season 2 made me like rex as well ❤😁
Rex is not getting back with Eve. Just cause they're on better terms now doesn't mean they're getting back together.
