This is probably my favourite multiplayer battle on youtube. The commentary, the camera shots, the intro, my two favourite factions, and the clash of the two remaining forces at the 18-minute mark was bloody brilliant.
Same! Also the initial clash is maybe the best one I've seen yet! Proper use of chaff and monstrous infantry all across the line, actual strategies/tactics and too much (sic) interesting engagements to even keep track of ^^

These are my 2 favorite factions and I always struggle on which to use. Seeing them go against each other was awesome.
My two favorite monster-heavy factions by far. Both so exotic and outrageous. Had no idea I needed to see this match up done in such an epic fashion, but it's one of my favorite Warhammer TW battles on youtube, period.
The Blessed Carnosaur is easily my favorite unit in the game, and is made even cooler in SFO, so it really hurt to watch it get wasted like that so early. It's uniquely stealthy and fast, a monstrous assassin of monsters - should have been a nasty surprise right where it hurts most, not thrown away as a mediocre suicide bomb. If it had supported Kroq-Gar early on, that glorious Necrosphinx would have been gloriously dead in less than a minute (though it did keep the second half from being too one-sided).
It was a fun battle! Look forward to the next one :D

Absolutely great! Mod maps are just so much more interesting to watch, the terrain creates a story so well. Thanks for doing this! I really hope we'll get to see more mod map MP soon. There are a couple of maps Im dying to see in action!

This battle is epic, it's awesome, it's m-m-monstrous! The coldblooded has always been "my" faction in tabletop playing with friends (for ever so long) until they shat on and ruined the whole WH universe. TK aren't their rivals, but this match got me sitting on the edge of my seat! ^^

Been watchin some of your videos on Warhammer lately, im mainly Warcraft player, one of the oldest beastmasters in Europe on that game.
Your cool composition and explanation of battles, and the intro lorewise on many of them are great. Actually started to buy all the bonus content for Warhammer too, and a big part of it is thanks to your work and another one ive watched from a guy named Turin. Great job .

Summary: The Blessed Lizardmen of Lustria, under the command of Kroq-Gar and Lord Mazdamundi march on Nehekhara to take on Settra the Imperishable, Arkhan the Black, and their Legions of Legend. In the end, both Settra and Arkhan were forced back to their graves along with the rest of their army as Kroq-Gar and Mazdamundi led the Lizardmen to loot the great pyramid and reclaim the sacred plaques.
hey @milkancookiesTW, for your opening cinematic shots, try getting a wider shot where different parts of the army move into view but you don't have to movie your camera at all. The mouse jitteryness makes it look a little less dope. You've got the right idea though

I am debating on starting a legendary difficulty Last Defender campaign? is it still ridiculously hard as it is in the lower difficulties (brettonia, tomb kings, greenskin, and such were easy slice by comparison) oh and it will be SFO, any hints for the first 10 or so turns?

Indy what do you enjoy more SFO, Radious, or vanilla?
I dont really play Radious much, but I wouldnt say I have a preference. Variety is the spice of life so I like to switch it up between when I get bored of one or want to try something different. So I alternate between sfo and vanilla a fair amount

if the walls worked it was after my update, it was around 11 pm here, so in american around 6 to 8 hours earlier I believe depending in wich time zone you are.
The last defenders really should have not attack on their own like that. It throw away their huge superiority that they had gained from wiping out the followers of nagash.

I just want SFO to make Scar Vets primarily AP like the base game has them now. I feel weird that CA has a better version of a hero than the Overhaul that's about bringing the power and ridiculousness of the series to a new depth in game.
they're certainly not lacking for AP on a Carnosaur, do they not have a high ratio on foot?
milkandcookiesTW No on foot CA made them 390 with primarily AP and maybe some BvsL still so they were a big threat all the time as they should be. Whereas SFO still has them at like 400 primarily normal with bonus vs large. So they're less useful dismounted in SFO which is like the only case of this lol. I personally think the SFO team once all the extra goodness they plan on bringing is done they should go top to bottom through Vanilla to reevaluate what they want to be their end product just cause of how much the game has changed from game 1 to 2.
In SFO they are 280 normal and 120 ap with 35 ap on foot. I think you got mod conflict :).
Venris Well not to argue with the creator himself but what I'm getting at and what you just said is you have primarily normal damage in the Mod. That's what 280 to 120 AP is with a total of 400 and whatever the extra 35 your citing so primarily normal. In Vanilla CA changed the dismounted Saurus Scar Vet and made him primarily AP. At about 390 total with the armor piercing symbol to indicate the AP majority. This happened when the Tomb Kings dropped because the Tomb Prince has alright melee stats but he beats the High Elf noble in damage to who has 340 damage with AP majority vs the Tomb Prince at 380 total with AP majority. They bumped the Scar Vet down 10 in total damage but changed them from a normal damage majority to AP when on foot. I'd love it if you choose to follow suit in the mod to make the Scar Vet better on his own as CA thought was necessary.

Great Epic Battle! Although having Settra riding his chariot of the gods is more lore-friendly, especially because during his reign the mortuary cult was not advanced enough to use constructs, given that the chariot is so bad I can respect the choice of the sphinx. What buffs do you think the chariot needs?
Also a problem I noticed with the War Sphinx is that it doesn't seem to attack retreating large entities, at least when they are roughly moving at the same speed. It kind of just seems to push them instead and struggles to get in position to launch attack animations.
Yeah Chariot of the Gods is simply a bad choice vs Lizardmen, too many dinos that can prevent him from moving and no knockdown immunity so you just die. I think Settra needs to not be like 3300 gold when he's on it, that would be a good start lol

Before the birth of Sigmar? So he’s actually considered real in this game? As far as I know the lore, he was never displayed like the other gods, you could only assume that his spiritual form was floating due to the strenght of his believers.
Sigmar is most definitely real in the lore. He was a "normal" human, the first Barbarian King to unite the tribes and forge the Empire as we know it today. He grew in strength as a deity in the warp due to the belief his people had in him as a God after he disappeared. He personally fought Nagash in those early days, and was the biggest reason mankind was victorious at the Battle of Blackfire Pass against the Greenskins
