Tina, I’ll be the first to say, teachers do not get paid what they should! When I worked at our high school as “Chillout Coordinator”, my job was all the kids in trouble, drugs etc. plus drove a bus and working with the Sheriff Dept. People have no idea the “extra” non-paying jobs teachers do❤
Teachers hold a very special place in my heart my dad was an English teacher. I know how tough this job can be, but it takes a person with a heart of gold to do. thank you for making all those kids smile every day. Enjoy your summer. Love my farm family.❤❤❤❤❤❤
I used to look forward to my company’s annual conference. After the business of the day was over, it was fun socializing with people that I only spoke to on the phone throughout the year. And of course doing a little shopping. It was always in Dallas (that’s where the corporate office was) and I was always so impressed by how clean the city was. Thank you for taking us along Tina. ❤

I just retired from 30 years of teaching on July 1st ! 🎉22 years in Kindergarten and 8 in 2nd grade. We , as teachers, never stop learning new things and the professional development training never ends , does it? Thank you for sharing your trip with us !!😊

That is a really nice room and set up. My husband could hang out on the couch with tv while I slept. Lol He likes the tv, I like the dark. That's a big and cool looking conference center. My sister always shops at Lofts in NJ so whenever she’s ready to clean out her closets, I get some really nice outfits. Unfortunately, there are no Lofts near me in FL. My step daughter lives in Round Rock and we use to live in Pflugerville. Austin and area is growing to fast. It was still country when we lived there. The Hill Country is beautiful tho. Enjoy!💕💕💕

Love pro shops ,😮 stay safe while you're gone .My oldest daughter has a big job for how tiny she is Flys drives here there abd everywhere ,ya look real nice but one time in Washington DC walking in a parking rap at night and a guy started following her she think the lord she made it to her car in time and he tried to get in, lots to keep learning to be a teacher and stay one ,very important job,bet your kid just love you,and bet you,ll be thrilled to be back home I finally got to the beach today sbd had a wonderful time went alone but nice lady there with her nephew and many many children having fun grandparents moms dad's uncle and a grampa ran up to see if I need help get up of my chair raft knee still getting a bit better bike wipe out over month ago nice showing finds
I love Lucky Brand jeans, I've got some of the coolest jeans (15-20 yrs old). My 16 yr old Grand raided my closets and drawers (she loves shopping vintage stores), she took tops, but unfortunately I am the shortest in my family and she just can't wear my jeans or crops. I'm about 5-6" shorter than anyone else, even my sisters are 4-5" taller than me. My Chiro says I was dropped as a baby and have a kink in my spine.............lol. Nobody owned up to that! I've got some Coldwater tops that are about 20 years old that people always ask me where I got them from (they NEVER WEAR OUT) and some LL Bean pima cotton tops still (never wear out either and get softer with time, boat neck 3/4 sleeves)..............she took a lot of stuff home with her. Stuff I had never even worn..........

I am a 43 year veteran teacher, counselor, administrator, then my last 3 years I worked at the district in curriculum and later as elementary director of education. I loved every position and never lost my passion. I am now retired, but asked if I would return as a counselor / admin but only work 2 and 3 day weeks and I love it. I am at a low income / high risk school with 1/4 of our population having EL students. I love it.
Well, actually, I am not fluent in Spanish like Lester. I only speak a little bit so my students are ESL. They have some English, but they are still working to acquire the language.
