    A truly great man, and yes he did not get it all right no one can do that . And its ok for those slating him 60yrs after he died, with the benefit of hindsight arnt you clever . He was a man of his time, thank God we had him otherwise you would now be speaking German and depending on what faith or race you are most probably dead or not even born .

    Why would the title say "hilarious"?!! I find NOTHING hilarious about Winston Churchill. He was one of the 20th century legend who stood against Hitler, saved Britain, and preserved the free world. Y'all won't be here today if it wasn't Churchill.

      Churchill made mistakes but he made a great many decisions at the same time. It is doubtful that we would have beaten the Nazis without his leadership. Russia got huge amounts of aid from us but we're not appreciative in the slightest. However, they did crush Hitler on the Easter Front.

      @@michaelmorrison687 What a load of horse shit…Churchill was responsible for the Gallipoli debacle that cost thousands of Brit and ANZAC casualties in WWI…He was an inspirational leader and speaker granted in WWII. But the Russians fought 80% of all of WWII on the Eastern front…Russia and China suffered the highest losses of WWII. Without them we could all be wearing Jack boots. Yet we give them zero credit now…and glorify what the Brits and Yanks did…mostly through Hollywood.

      I agree with that, but in a highly advanced society which has created for itself thousands of opportunities every day, how do you protect society from the egoistic, the antisocial and the immoral? I drive down the public street and park in front of someone's house, because I can. The residents grow tired of this behaviour and clamour for parking restrictions. That's where "regulation" begins. Plus one thousand more such instances.

    Churchill was one of the great masters of the English language. His writings are of note, particularly THE HISTORY OF THE ENGLISH SPEAKING PEOPLES (4 vols.), and THE SECOND WORLD WAR (6 VOLS.). If all historians wrote so well, more people would be reading history.

      Churchill was out of politics in the 1930s, living and writing and painting at Chartwell his home. He came back to the government only when asked in 1939. Learn your history.
