FRESH KILLS is the BEST film I have seen on the festival circuit in the last 15 years. A gritty, gut wrenching story about two sisters that are stuck in a life they didn't choose... Their father's mob world. BUT, It's NOT a Mob film.
The depth of character these two young actors (Emily Bader & Odessa A'zion) share in their performances, explodes from the script on to the screen, via the expert direction of Esposito. Like all classic Independent Films, FRESH KILLS is intimate and raw, while bursting at the seams with story, content and style. It should be on everyone's must see list for 2024 and beyond!

Saw this film at the premiere and loved it from start to finish - every second of it is riveting, moving, and real and I cannot wait to see it again. Brilliant movie - wonderful script & directing by Jennifer Esposito and beautiful acting by everyone in this film. Go see it!

@@joefelice5062 For example, saying in my opinion France has the best wine is an opinion based on observable fact and consensus, therefore it has merit. However, saying in my opinion the world is flat, is based against fact and has no observable truth, therefore has no merit. Its similar to the modern day argument that socialist (communism) is better than capitalism based not on facts but emotion, as history and even modern day South America and North Korea show this to be wrong. It also has to ignore that capitalism has built histories most successful cultures and civilizations. I hope this has been educational for you.
