That's one amazing machine. I was looking at the specifications on the Tigercat websight. The engine in that is also amazing in that it doesn't need a DPF filter to meet emissions.
Takes money to make money. The cost don't stop when the engine ain't running. I used to commercial fish 40 years ago. We were payed .50 cents a pound the price today is still 50 cents a pound. I don't know how much a load of trees are worth but I bet they haven't gone up that much. Then again I could be wrong
Good morning Tim. that little girl at the beginning of the video is so darn cute. I really like that new tigercat you fellers got. as always stay safe out there and take care bud. thanks for the awesome content.
Thanks for taking us out into the forest, I really enjoy seeing the big machines work, trouble is I dont know what the numbers relate to, that you often quote. Does Derick know your out nearby?
Any idea what will happen in Florida with the pine forests that got torn up in hurricane? I have a friend who was given a 20 acre 30 year old pine Forest that got tore up bad.
The cutter gets a lot more abuse than the other units so it makes since to get it first and you are right you have to spend money to make money some people just don't understand it and never will
I am impressed with track drive power of the tigercat cutters, did you have any worries about the motor being tier 4? Great machine and great video tim👍
Great video again. Thank Derek for letting us watch. It is interesting to hear why you guys make the business decisions you have to. Do you cut for a few days before you call in the trucks to haul or do they start hauling as soon as you guys are set up and cutting?
The people asking questions like r just to dumb to understand how a business works. And probably the same people that leases a new car and try to justify how good it is
Thats a great machine, Tim ! With all its electronics ( as well as the processor and your loader ) necessary for function do you ever have problems with lightning pulses or strikes ? Keep up the great videos !!
Good Video Tim. Yup have to make the best moves in this game of chess to survive. Great move that cutter is the Heart of the Beast the rest are arteries and veins.
That lil hammock right there is snake haven where I come from . Be careful buddy gettin us those good shots on video you might just find one ;-) Thank ya Tim !
congratulations on the cutter nice machine . being a farmer I understand the buissness concept of the trade but some stuff youtube world don't need to know and wont understand anyway lol. you gotta keep going forward to survive or you become stagnat and start going backwards . great stuff cotontop keep them coming man .be safe
Good video 👍 I like the idea of a reversing fan. The only thing is I started wondering about the programming meaning the run time before reversing etc. I have always had that problem and have debated getting professional help😜
I run a Mobile Hydraulics Truck in South Florida, and what y'all break, is what I fix! But I'm pretty sure I have worked on some equipment that is just a lil bit bigger than y'all run with!! Love the vids. I'm on FB as Jt Burton.
why can't people just watch the videos and stop asking personal questions. like the price of the machines, ect. just watch the video and enjoy it. sorry had a rant. I guess it's like the old saying.. give them an inch and they want a mile. thank you Tim for all you do for us so we can have a great video each day. I appreciate everything you do for us. be safe buddy.
I can’t understand people doubting or questioning their business decisions. It’s obvious they haven’t just started yesterday and anyone with average intelligence can see how important that cutter is for production. Especially when you factor in the terrain and the need for a leveler. I think one needs to observe for awhile before asking questions. Just my 2 cents to add to the rant.
Just wondering, on this new cutter, it looks to me like the tracks are a bit longer and a bit wider. Are they? Good to see the new machine getting the job done. Thanks for another great video
Those 1079D tax deductions are good too Tim! Might be another reason you guys look at trading?? I know in the construction industry that is a big deal for us.
Here in central Alabama we have a lot of dog woods. Do yall cut a lot of them down or tree to leave them if land owner said not to cut them down? Just something I I've been thinking about. Also I love watching your video's and keep them coming.
Will you all be taking the cylinder shield off the old one and putting it on the new one? Tiger cat should have started putting cylinder shield on there cutters after that one.
I appreciate the LX830D video but I know as do you your too close to that machine, I would hate to read you were injured or killed just for a video. Please be safe in the woods around working machines.
I have been watching your videos for about a month now on and off when i can. I enjoy these. I wish you were closer to me and was hiring
That is one stout fast machine. Very nice. Nothing is cheap now days. Buy cheap get cheap. Just like any tool to make money.
Iv ran almost all the tree cutters for 20+ years only one I've yet to run is tiger cat looks like a good machine
nice machine cotontop
Leveling cab
I swear at 2:44 it looked like he was gonna drop the trees on you. I almost crapped my pants.
How do you get your jobs, bid?, own the properties? how does that work?
We cut jobs for a timber company. They own the property and we cut it for them.
Brillant as always tim
Like ive always said you have to spend money to make money, as well as you get the quality for what you spend.
Congratulations new machine
That look kind of fun, I would like to run yours tree cutter
Derrick is the bomb!! Love watching a professional operator that knows what to do w his machine. It never gets old. Thanks for the footage!!

Another great video from Cotontop3! Keep on keeping on,Tim.
There’s no doubt the success of TDK logging you guys make it look fun. Very happy for y’all!!
That track machine can't pick up & carry those big oaks ?
It’s funny because I’m on equipment all day and come home and watch your videos and drives my wife crazy
lol farmers today spend just as much on one seeder or combine.
Another great video Tim keep up the good work
Beautiful machine.
All we run is Tigercat. It is the best logging equipment in my humble opinion.
Our closest dealer is 80 miles away in another state. Our Deere dealer is only 30 miles away. I know Tigercat is better though.
great video Tim that new cutter is badass be safe and have a blessed day !
Love to see Derrick on that machine, Have a great day Tim..Take Care
That is a very nice machine good quality , makes a operater appreciate running good equipment great video Tim i enjoy your videos

I sure enjoyed that Tim you got hard working family and machines that will get the job done Sure is a brushy area their
That's one amazing machine. I was looking at the specifications on the Tigercat websight. The engine in that is also amazing in that it doesn't need a DPF filter to meet emissions.
We busted the nose cone on our front rear end yesterday, end of our week, but Tim u growing. Way to go
love it when the ground is wet.
Man I enjoy watching that tiger cat work that is a real piece of machinery and killer to just watch it work amazing thanks for filming.
Takes money to make money. The cost don't stop when the engine ain't running. I used to commercial fish 40 years ago. We were payed .50 cents a pound the price today is still 50 cents a pound. How many hours do the old cutter got
Thanks for taking us out into the forest, I really enjoy seeing the big machines work, trouble is I dont know what the numbers relate to, that you often quote. Does Derick know your out nearby?
Great video tim and it's nobody's business what that machines cost some people kill me thank you for sharing
Any idea what will happen in Florida with the pine forests that got torn up in hurricane? I have a friend who was given a 20 acre 30 year old pine Forest that got tore up bad.
They’ll get up what they can which will be a good bit of it and get it growing again.
The cutter gets a lot more abuse than the other units so it makes since to get it first and you are right you have to spend money to make money some people just don't understand it and never will
Thanks for sharing
I am impressed with track drive power of the tigercat cutters, did you have any worries about the motor being tier 4? Great machine and great video tim👍
Appreciate the video Tim. Some people just don't understand. Keep'em coming. #GOTIGERCAT 👍👍
Great video again. Thank Derek for letting us watch. It is interesting to hear why you guys make the business decisions you have to. Do you cut for a few days before you call in the trucks to haul or do they start hauling as soon as you guys are set up and cutting?
the new machine is great. How much lead time to get one of those?
U order one now and it’ll b on into next year before u get it.
thanks for the reply. I have wondered that for some time.
Should throw a camera in derricks ride. Be pretty cool to see him running it.
The people asking questions like r just to dumb to understand how a business works. And probably the same people that leases a new car and try to justify how good it is
Great video Tim. Looking forward to the video of you in the new cutter trying it out. Later
Thats a great machine, Tim ! With all its electronics ( as well as the processor and your loader ) necessary for function do you ever have problems with lightning pulses or strikes ? Keep up the great videos !!
Great job on the video. Love watching the equipment run those were some pretty flowers. Definitely a great looking office space to work in 😂❤️
Good Video Tim.
Yup have to make the best moves in this game of chess to survive. Great move that cutter is the Heart of the Beast the rest are arteries and veins.
If I was gonna start a logging business, I would buy Tigercat. You can tell looking at it that it is built right.
Are you going to do any hunting this year
Yes
That lil hammock right there is snake haven where I come from . Be careful buddy gettin us those good shots on video you might just find one ;-) Thank ya Tim !
congratulations on the cutter nice machine . being a farmer I understand the buissness concept of the trade but some stuff youtube world don't need to know and wont understand anyway lol. you gotta keep going forward to survive or you become stagnat and start going backwards . great stuff cotontop keep them coming man .be safe
This maybe a stupid Question Joseph Boley, But Cotontop3 what do, or what happens to the stumps? Do you bulldoze them out, or just leave em?
They rot.
Good video 👍 I like the idea of a reversing fan. The only thing is I started wondering about the programming meaning the run time before reversing etc. I have always had that problem and have debated getting professional help😜
would like to see all your equip "' Tim"
Tim, question for you. How long before you can go back on the same ground? Do they replant trees?
Do you still have the loader mounted on a chassis?
How does the john deere equipment (shovel loader etc.) compare to Tigercat? I'm new to forestry (clearing Pipeline ROWs)
Hey Tim, great video! Does the 830 level itself out as it moves over the ground or does Derek have to constantly control that?
Kevin McGann Derrick levels himself
John W Hicks thanks, I thought so.
You’re welcome
Cesar🧔🏻
Sweet piece of equipment see ya Napa mike
Are you gonna have cylinder guards made for this one like your old one had?
Tim the extra length in the tracks is already a benefit I can see it
I run a Mobile Hydraulics Truck in South Florida, and what y'all break, is what I fix! But I'm pretty sure I have worked on some equipment that is just a lil bit bigger than y'all run with!! Love the vids. I'm on FB as Jt Burton.
Is the head the same size?.. also noticed the main boom is farther forward, does that make the machine handle any worse?
What engine is in this machine a Cummings or Tigercat?
Walter Ramey I believe all the Tigercat stuff is now FPT powered, Fiat Powertrain Technologies.
16 hours, dangggggg, it still should be running off the factory fill-up
Nice machine! When it does come time to replace the loader and processor do you think y’all will transition those to Tigercat as well?
If you do some searching on the web you can figure out the price of new and used machines, you don’t need to ask personal questions
why can't people just watch the videos and stop asking personal questions. like the price of the machines, ect. just watch the video and enjoy it. sorry had a rant. I guess it's like the old saying.. give them an inch and they want a mile. thank you Tim for all you do for us so we can have a great video each day. I appreciate everything you do for us. be safe buddy.
Joseph Boley well said. People can google the price if they really need to know
Exactly Joseph, So annoying..
I agree.
It's none of anybody's business bar Tim.
11” longer. Same width overall and track pads
Those 1079D tax deductions are good too Tim! Might be another reason you guys look at trading?? I know in the construction industry that is a big deal for us.
Good Deal,, Nice machine Bro'👍👍
Here in central Alabama we have a lot of dog woods. Do yall cut a lot of them down or tree to leave them if land owner said not to cut them down? Just something I I've been thinking about. Also I love watching your video's and keep them coming.
nice new machine
You should mount a Camera on the inside window of the tiger cat so we can see what the operator sees I'd like to see how it works from inside
If you go back to previous videos he has posted an in cab view of the older buncher. Have a great day!
Will this tract of land be reseeded with pine, or let nature its control.
I would be sweating bullets if I made such an investment and got rained out 3 days of the first week it was on the job.😓😓
Will you all be taking the cylinder shield off the old one and putting it on the new one? Tiger cat should have started putting cylinder shield on there cutters after that one.
Nice machine without it everything comes to a screeching halt understandable to keep and up-to-date and fresh.
I want to still chainsaw a big please send me a coupon for free
I appreciate the LX830D video but I know as do you your too close to that machine, I would hate to read you were injured or killed just for a video.
Please be safe in the woods around working machines.
Chad will be getting stuck on that high stump.
Very nice video ,why is he cutting those trees kinda high.jc
I thinking the same,
Very nice 😎
30,000 nut a month
I want to still chainsaw a big please send me a coupon for free for
They don’t understand cash flow
Do you ever "tip over a cutter" Sometimes I cringe at the angle and the lift!
I don't see anything wrong with asking what the price is...
Why don't you use processor heads?
We do, look back through my videos and you’ll see we have 2 waratahs
