The new machine is a beast! I would be so intimidated just trying to thread it.. 😂 The books looked great on your test version.. I think the darker blue and a little more orange to the top book would make it pop more but it was beautiful… I loved the cat design.. hope you are able to get them to update it so you can use it because it was really cute. I can see that being a big seller. And I’m sitting in Orlando at a Disney Resort thinking I really picked the wrong time to stay on property… Have been here for a few days and the weather has NOT been cooperative.. However I have had time to catch up with watching RUclips LOL!
Threading it the first time with having to do all 10 was definitely labor intensive lol! The new stitch out with the darker colors is extremely cute. I'm hoping when I add the cat design on the website people will really like it, this week I have to get to taking some photos for sure! We went to Animal Kingdom Saturday and that was really fun, we ended up leaving right before it started raining but we still had a good time!! Hopefully you guys were still able to have some good Disney time though!!
Hey Bailey. On the stitch out you did first. I think you need to double up your stabilizer and add a piece of cut away. It is pretty dense. I am dealing with that on a design I am working on and the cutaway stabilizer (rather than poly mesh) made a huge difference.
Thank you so much for the tip! I did two more test stitch outs with an updated file the seller sent to me (one with one piece of cutaway and one with two pieces of cutaway) and they both turned out pretty good, the one with two pieces was the winner but it was pretty close. I'm debating on if I should try putting it on a shirt with two layers of cutaway because it may show the stabilizer pretty hard on the color and thinness of the shirt. Why does everything have to be so complicated lol
😂 It is a trial and error situation for sure!! Glad the digitizer was able to adjust the design too.
I have the Brother SE 1900 and I love that you bought a multi needle brother machine. I embroider for fun. But I want a multi needle machine. One day. Some people I watch that has unboxed machine. Has the thread already done and they tie their spool thread to it. Then pull the thread through until the new color comes out. Does that machine not pre thread it for you. Also I buy download files and that is good idea. About letting them signing yes, before a download. People I have bought from. Say it’s a download and no refunds. But it’s kind your giving them a heads up can’t wait to see more projects on the machine.
I really like my new machine!! I definitely think if you're doing it just for fun a single needle machine is the way to go so you don't have to worry as much about anything crazy happening because the multi-needles are such a big investment. This machine did not come pre-threaded unfortunately I had to do all of that myself lol. I am glad that it was suggested to make people acknowledge it is a digital download before purchasing hopefully that keeps people from making a mistake!

I'm glad you like it!! I decided to go with a different color for the bottom book so I ordered it and the color didn't look like the listing photo so now I'm waiting for a new color to come in that I'm hoping is right lol

Do you miss the laser feature? Do you prefer the camera? I also bought my Brotherpr680w from the Sewing studio, so easy to do business there.
I definitely miss the laser and currently still prefer it over the camera. I haven't used the camera a ton so maybe in the future I will come to love it but right now I do miss the laser!! Also I love the Sewing Studio everyone there is always so nice and helpful!
You can get a fine tip sharpie and fill in the black :) but yes I’d reach out to the designer about the design being off . Also the 10 needle doesn’t have a laser :( I love the laser on my 6 needle . It’s so helpful bc I’m not good with centering even with the creasing and the hooping station. I also overthink things too lol
That's a good tip!! The designer fixed it for me so I'm super stoked about that! I definitely miss the laser I prefer that over the camera lol, with the laser I could trace only 2-3 times to make sure I was in the hoop but now I do it like 5-6 times lol
Do you use unisex shirts? Aside from the boxy tees?
All the Comfort Colors shirts are unisex! I do have a few Bella Canvas shirts I use here and there that are women's fit but all the other shirts & sweatshirts are a unisex fit!
We’re just getting over Tropical storm Debby. Almost flooded but we’re lucky. With all those details on the book shirt that must make it pricy?
Thankfully we just had some heavy rain on Monday and nothing too crazy here I hope you guys didn't get hit too hard! I think I may increase the price slightly for this one since it is so intensive but not too much!

I think it is super cute too!! I actually did a machine trade in at The Sewing Studio so they essentially bought my machine and put the money towards the new one!
I don’t know if it’s different here in UK but every time I order a digital file, at payment there’s a tick box from Etsy asking me to acknowledge that I know it’s a digital file xo
Etsy in the US needs to do that too!! It says it a lot of places but they don't prevent you from ordering it if you don't acknowledge it's digital!
