I'm really not a Nintendo fan, but I have to point out how clever the Wii's controls were. What other times have you seen an 8 year old, a 16 year old, a 37 year old, and the 86 year old grandma all playing the same game at the same time and all loving it? It really cemented gaming as universally awesome. Give your elderly mum a controller on a racing game (especially in 2007) and bet that she will spin the controller like a steering wheel. 100% no doubt. As much as I dislike Nintendo, I have to admit that was a seriously smart move and was really well executed for the time. Also, I can't give Nintendo many points on most of this stuff because their controllers are the least ergonomic thing ever. "We've got a brilliant new controller!" "Oh, really? Awesome! I assume it's a boomerang shape like playstation and Xbox, right?" "Nope, it's a rectangle!" *My palms crying distantly*
This is one of those few times where I agree with almost everything said in this tier list. If I were to do this myself I doubt there'd be much different. Good list!!!
Hey Stamps, I watched you years ago and started watching you again back in 2022, because I missed your personality in your videos, I'm sad that you aren't doing Let's Plays anymore, but am very glad that you are making more of these long-form podcasts, because it means I get to hear your personality really come out when you get deep into topics like these.
You are always so positive and energetic and I love that, it's honestly contagious. Whenever you're laughing or being silly it always puts a smile on face.
On the guitar hero world tour guitar, there’s a Ethernet port on the bottom of the guitar. In the instructions, it tells you that the port supported an effects pedal. They never released the effects pedal. :’) edit: it’s an RJ11 port (I looked it up)
As a massive Nintendo fan, this video made me bery happy to watch and was full of nostalgia! The GameCube's gated rim is super important for precise games like Monkey Ball! And the only think I can think I've used the Switch Touch Screen for are Mario Maker 2 for making levels, and there are a couple games in 51 Clubhouse Games Nintendo released in 2020 that use it. But pretty rarely still! I know exactly what you mean about the 3DS strip... The DS Lite is a great console. I still play on mine occasionally, even though the hinge is broken! I do also miss handheld gaming like we had in the 2000s...
I love my DS Lite, I’ve had so much fun playing games on it, mostly Mario cart. I personally hate the mic, you can use it to blow up balloons on Mario cart and I can never get it to work. I also love the Wii, not a button but the wire for the sensor was soooo thin it would break/snap really easily.
Being a huge Nintendo fan, I have never used so many of these buttons, but for the ones I have used, it was interesting to hear other’s opinions about them. I never used the Wii U TV button, but I did use the game pad to watch hundreds of Stampy videos
Another great tier list. I have always had Nintendo consoles and agree with everything's placement. I forgot about the bongos! Amazing. The battery life for the Ds and Gameboy were always insane to me. I could let my Gameboy sit in a drawer for years and when i came back to it, it would turn on and still have its charge.
Loving these tier lists and the channel. What about rating accessories or alt controllers like the guitar hero guitar, NES gun, Switch wheel for Mario Kart, etc.Just an idea ☺️
I have to admit the Mic is quite effective and was really well utilised in the Wario Ware games. The first time i had to use it on the Nintendo DS blew me away because of its innovation. I think it should be at least upper 'D' Tier for that.
Interesting episode- tbh I always found the DS itself too small, so the first console I bought with my pocket money was the Nintendo DS XL- and god I used to love that console because there was just a bit more space between the buttons and I personally prefer a wider display.
I really enjoyed the playstation button video, but I am really glad to see this video, because I have never played playstation, but have played a lot more nintendo consoles, so I feel like I can say more about this in comparison, my favorite buttons are literally every button on a gamecube controller lol Also I really want "It's nub'o clock!" to become a regular thing Great video
I love all your random ideas for these videos outside of the main show. They're so entertaining! I'd love to see you guys do more, maybe both of you pick some game cover arts and debate which of your picks are better! Or a best video game little guy😅 Maybe debate the best game world to live in! Random things, you guys are more cretive than me^^ Im looking forward to future videos!
My take is that the “-“ button on the left joycon is the worst nintendo button by far Its so close to the analogue stick that if youve got long fingernails like i do its literally impossible to press unless you reposition your thumb in a really awkward way or try to press it with the tip of your nail which really isnt as easy as it sounds :/ It easily goes right at the bottom of e tier for me
I'm sorry to disagree with Oli so hard, but as someone who adores the Nintendo 64 and plays it frequently... the N64 analogue stick is absolute garbage! I love everything else about the controller, and I understand that the N64 analogue stick was very revolutionary, but it just isn't as good as any other analogue stick I've ever used, and has caused so much frustration and time purchasing more controllers and trying to fix limp and failing sticks. I get where he's coming from... but I can't imagine he uses the N64 controller very much! Also, Joe, the N64 Z-button is really good and I resent your poor review.

Could you guys do content on red dead redemption 2 if you have played it? It’s a great a game and I would be interested in your guys opinions.
i know you said this is probably the last, but a tv remote button ranking is obviously what needs to come next

"Its Nub o'Clock!" 😂😂😂😂 Hoping this is a feature on every vid going forward
When I started watching the bonus points this was the most recent video, and I’ve finally gotten to watch it, just 7 months worth of content to go!
The Wii A button has always been one of my favorites, it’s so satisfying to click!
This is one of those few times where I agree with almost everything said in this tier list. If I were to do this myself I doubt there'd be much different. Good list!!!
I think the “any” button/key is unbeatable
It’s weird to think that Joe wasn’t a Nintendo kid because I became a Nintendo kid because of his videos

the z button on the wii nunchuck is so satisfying to press
It’s been 5 months since Stampy posted on SLH.
I’m glad him & Oli are still active here!

I’ve never heard of bad button mashing skills as “the physical limits of a human thumb” HAHA

A tier list of your favourite tier lists please
thank you for creating this video
The mic is terrible but so nostalgic for me because of yelling at the dam DS to try and name my Nintendogs
Stampy is still here 😊😊😊😊😊
Wii c button used to stick down
My take is that the “-“ button on the left joycon is the worst nintendo button by far
