You should think about removing the words "Sad Ending" from your title. I've watched six or more of these and subscribed and although every death is sad, the lives you cover and research so elegantly have all lived their lives to the fullest. A sad ending to me is all of those lost on the Titanic, in the Holocaust, in any war, or because of the Coronavirus. Keep up the great work. You've told me things I never knew about some of my favorite people.

I agree with that I though that looking at the title he was involved in a terrible accident and died horribly, but he still lived a good life by the sounds of it. I looked him up as he appeared in Star Trek Voyager and I was curious about him, very sad to see he had passed away.

He appeared in “The Sting” in a major supporting role and came to Australia in the 1970s to appear in the “Evil Touch”. A terrific character actor who was very under rated.

I'm surprised you didn't mention his last movie appearance in the 2000 movie version of "My favorite Martian" where he actually used his Martian moniker Neinert. At the end of the movie he made a reference to the TV series; "This chewing gum lost its flavor in 1966"(CBS canceled the series in that year).

In this series, apparently a sad ending is when you die of old age. We should all get a video of our lives, then. Except mine which would cause others' sad ending- dying of boredom.

I used to watch My Favorite Martian as a kid and I didn't think Walston was really an actor. I kinda thought he was the CEO of Jack in the Box cuz they'd say it was a "Ralston company" or something like that, and I got them mixed up. Dumb kid - ha.

Lots of room for improvement with this. His role in the sting, cocoon, paint your wagon. His last martian role. Main drag about this video is the dry commentary on a cheap mic. How about interviews or clips of rays extensive works. Or memorable works you enjoyed. You sound like you would remember him from Fast times ridgemont high like all of us, but its briefly touched upon.

I was a security officer assigned to work at a filming location in Salt Lake City in the early eighties. They where filming Fall of house of Usher. Ray's was the Butler in the movie. Between shot calls Ray would ride an old fat tire bicycle around the set for exercise. Apparently he took that bike with him every where.

It wasn't quite Of Mice And Men but he was also on Eerie Indiana as Ned in The Loyal Order Of Corn episode in 1992. I'm always impressed when a serious actor takes time for some silly humor.

Is it accurate to label his conclusion as tragic? From my perspective, he enjoyed a prosperous and fruitful career as an actor, living a long and fulfilling life. His story doesn't conclude in destitution or abandonment on the streets, as one might expect with a tragic ending. While you've highlighted intriguing facts, I would suggest contemplating a modification to the titles of your channel videos to better align with the positive aspects of his life and career.

I’m not sure if we’re related, but my last name is Also Walston. It’s not a common last name whatsoever, one of the more common sound alikes is Watson or Walton. This is the first time I’ve heard of anyone with an identical last name to mine that wasn’t immediate family.
