- We got some Bubble Balloons online and had Party City inflate them with helium for us! The Balloons look like bubbles and we bought a separate kit with leds to have them light up! We got these balloons on Amazon.com.
We did a little bit of balloon shopping at party city and then we saw someone had theses awesome balloons. We wanted to try to find out the process for getting our own bubble balloons called Bobo balloons. The balloons are supposed to inflate to 20 inches, the inflation was pretty inconsistent and expensive.
Next time we will blow them up ourselves with our own tank of helium instead of taking them to have Party City inflate them. We attached our led lights to the balloons and watch how magical they look!
You cant even see how beautiful these bobo bubble balloons are unless you see them in person. Perfect for a wedding or fancy party!
The balloons were not properly sealed by Party City and lost helium right away, charging 1.99 for each balloon was very pricey. We only inflated 10, so I can imagine how expensive it would be to inflate all 50 balloons.

As a worker at party city blowing up balloons can be hard some times
Galaxy! I'm here a year later..but still great and relevant video. Thanks for showing your process! Party City missed a few vital steps, one you pointed out was definitely improper sealing! These must be tied separate of the balloon string. Other is you MUST stretch these before inflating to get to full diameter!! My favorite part was how how you added the lights!! 💜💜

Super cool balloons you have
Also beware when buying (particularly latex)balloons at Party City, each of their inflation areas have a 60/40 helium/air mixer as one of the balloon fillers. They will charge you for pure helium and give you a cheap blend. Seen this happen to people with my own eyes. Make sure your latex balloons are inflated on the black rubber tip for pure helium.

It's because your balloons arent self sealing. You need a heat sealer.
they last for until 5 months i have both of the lights for the balloons that are clear

With helium floating about 3-4 days, but without helium, like on a balloon stick, probably a few weeks or more if you take care of them. They really are beautiful, video doesn't do them justice. Hope this helps.

The helium tank that you use is different than the other helium from the red helium tank the red helium tank has a stronger helium in target they have the big one
Really? I know the helium wasn't very good, but I figured they were all the same, the ones at the store anyway. I want to get a real tank that they come and fill up and such. I didn't know that about the one at target and I just bought another one 😓
Helium purchased from a gas supplier is approx 99% pure, where are the stuff in the DIY tanks boxed to keep at home are only balloon gas and at most 80% pure. They go foggy just before they pop as well, I have a balloon business and use these a lot.
@@ChikinKikka hello, what is the best helium tank for the BoBo Balloons? I make these using air, I've only tried a couple with helium, purchased tank from Wal-Mart, they lasted less than 24 hours. People are asking for helium for parties, but I don't feel comfortable because they don't last a full day. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you

To be honest I think if you inflated them you would of done a better job
I agree, probably could have blown up more too with our own tank.
actual tanks are better. balloons inflated with the "balloon time" tanks only last about 5-7 hours i think.
@Jeremy Art Alvarez i've seen someone use hair spray i think. i don't remember when.
Yeah it's like 60% helium, 40% air. I remember even when I was a young child, the balloons inflated with a disposable tank never lasted long. Probably because they were 9 inch balloons, and I think they've always been a mixture of mostly helium and air.
