      On top of insane training it’s about perfecting your running form.
      I’m a total noob and currently run at 5.30-6.30/km, and i noticed that i got waaaay faster (about 25s/km faster) just by slightly improving my form and increasing cadence.
      I used to have 180 heart rate when running at 6.40/km with a 162-165 cadence, then when i improved my form and set to a 175-180 cadence my pace dropped to 6.10/km pretty much overnight (actually 2 days later) with 177 heart rate.

      It's just like Larry Wheels's 675 lbs bench and Dmitry Klokov's 550 lbs "PAUSE" squat. But if you think they are all regular people on egg, veggies and protein shake then you are too naive. A normal man's (someone not on gear) heart (at that age) won't remain at 190+ for 15+ minutes. Even if it did, he won't be able to talk like that at the end of 10k.

    • @user_1abc
      @user_1abc 3 года назад

      @@Ajer123 Very few? NONE of the "elite" athletes don't use PED's. Just that some of them are super moderate with the use, and many of them are experts at cycling it out of their systems before the doping tests. I've come across teenagers using EPOs, Test-E, Anadrol and what not. Lance Armstrong too had all the big claims until his castle of cards came falling down. Perhaps the only sports where the marquee players don't use any of these are billiards and chess.

    • @user_1abc
      @user_1abc 3 года назад

      @@Ajer123 Cycling is not a pure strength and endurance sport. Heard about Lance Armstrong may be? Now the funny thing is when Armstrong's medals were stripped they wanted to pass on the medal from one of the races to the next guy but it turned out that in next guy was already DQd due do doping charges. Running is no different. Ben Johnson in 1988 to Justin Gatlin 20 years later?

      @@Ajer123 The video as well as your comment is about running, so what's the point of talking about other sports? Hi Raj, I'm not a professional athlete ... but I want to use your comment to politely post right here now that I have NEVER used any evil drugs of any kind in my life ... I didn't use pain medication at home recovering after my emergency gall bladder surgery last year & during my life, I've only very rarely used simple aspirin
      I'm 100% drug free, and I'm only now beginning to understand that my lifelong "ok" or "good" running times with my deformed & very differently sized feet/leg might be actually amazing? ... not records, of course ... but maybe perhaps I do have a gift?
      My point is there ARE honest & clean athletes in the world, especially middle-aged folks training to break (or almost break) Masters records.

      Take note that he was running behind bicycle which breaks wind and gives steady speed. Same thing as Eliud Kipchoge ran marathon under two hours, but it is not considered as a world record, because he was helped with electric pacer, 41 runners helped him to break the wind and he used springshoes that are not allowed in official race.

    It is an honor for me to see someone like you running the way you do to tell us how incredible our bodies can be.
    I did not do any sports for 17 years 95kg body fat 36% now. I just STARTED 3 weeks ago. I run 1k and started puffing. Then did 2k, 3k then 5K then my first 10k in 1h and 11 and then did half a marathon in 2h 40m and hopefully in two days on the 6th March 2021 a full marathon. I am glad I am starting to respect my body, but looking at you running, I still have lots of respect to go!Smile.
