I really want that finish to become one of Protech's staples, along with "chalky back" and "ben blue." The brass coating thing is really compelling to me.
I get why that's desirable, but these things can be changed mid-run sometimes, and it's generally better to buy a set and find a size that works at the time of disassembly :)
The product is solid, and they did the right thing and backed down. I'm happy to try and to support other lube makers, particularly ones with longer term production and sustainable ability to deliver products, alongside Nano Oil and KPL, but for now, what works, still works.
I went into a trance and thought to myself "that blade has too obvious a point of weakness 👉🏻" then I realized it's time to rethink because the knife is shorter than my thumb and yeah...
That laugh 😂when it first popped opened... always a joy visiting the channel!!
That's a neat looking little fellow!
Who TF "dislikes" a disassembly video?
Good stuff as always, friend.
Haters who can’t afford these cool knives 😎
Thanks Nick. Love your disassembly videos. Very instructive. The unexpected is the bonus material and my favorite part.
This knife reminds me of an auto Pilar. Looks pretty sweet!
Nick your humble humor is wonderful. LOL Metal Complex .......
Thanks Nick. I hope they come out with more bronzed aluminum pieces. I need one in my life.
It brass not aluminum
@@maninblack6606 its bronzed aluminum. Nick even says those words in the video. You have to unmute the video when you watch it.
@@MikeHere you right, too bad there sprint runs and thers no more too buy.
Looks like easy to carry .
Comedy Gold, who'd would have thought the springs would do that!

Best knaf youtuber there is, love ya Nick.😎
Just beautiful 🤩
How come you don't clean with alcohol any longer?
Nick could you add the screw sizes in the description of the video on disassemblies?
I get why that's desirable, but these things can be changed mid-run sometimes, and it's generally better to buy a set and find a size that works at the time of disassembly :)
Heck yeah
Are they selling this handle version yet? I haven't seen them yet, it's the only version I want
As far as I know the Bronze handled versions were a very limited first run, and all you're gonna see now are the blue, and black Al versions.
@@frankiejdwm_edc1037 if that's true I'll save the money, thanks
You still have KPL after the whole debacle?!?!?

I thought the good thing about aluminum bronze was high tarnish resistance
I thought the whole point of bronze was to get a nice tarnish.
That is what bronze is for. Was thinking it might be good for people with metal allergies but love the look of bronze.
He doesn't have the power to manipulate the physical universe? Like, he doesn't have hands?
Naa I'll stick with u nick I don't like that other guy to much.
Ouches

Pro Tech seems uncompromising and unreluctant in their machining.
