He's a beast no matter what the media decides is good.. he's up there with zakk Wylde and dimebag in my honest opinion. He don't play when it comes to that axe.
If you ever want something great this year, pay for this album and dont free download. The quality is to good. Be true to your god. Tremonster has brought his ultimate weapon on this one. He deserves it 👯😛👏🏇🚣
Gearhead 6971 tremontis birthday is one day before mine but his 2 yrs older. Its ok imchanging my name soon. Sick of societies stupid ideologies from a film reference. There was a saint damian but watevs
Tremonti signature riffage with the vibe of Motorhead. Blast of an intro, verse, outro with an amazingly delivered solo of carnage. The chorus is wonderfully melodic and is the surprise in this song. From minor to major tonality, only Mark Tremonti can meaningfully express it.
@@RG049 Yeah brother! I liked your comment last time. Due to certain issues, haven't been able to be in touch with You. Will connect with You soon. Feels great to come back to this song and see Your comment ❤
@@onetirtha Hey brother, so glad to hear from you. Hope you're doing good. I guess there's a lot of things to talk for us. You can still connect with me on Telegram, or send me a message like this if there's anything. Hope to talk with you soon.
That harmonic change in the chorus totally caught me off guard! THIS IS GOLD! PS: I had to point out that the whole band sounds TIGHT! And Tanner is really good on the bass, nice lines at 2:40
I believe Tanner is playing on this album. I'm pretty sure Wolfgang is too busy doing his own thing right now so they brought Tanner in to record. Tanner's a killer bassist so I'm glad to see his work on the actual recordings now!
That's great. Though I would like Wolfie sill play in the band, he did really well on the previous records, he did some nice backing vocals. BTW Tanner is also a great bassist, he's pretty energetic on stage, I like that.
He isn't a natural singer, and I'm blown a way by how much work he's put into crafting his voice. I think my favorite instrument on this album is the throat.
Arguably not only the best guitarist going ..... but also song writer . THE only thing I would say is just a lil more bass guitar presence cuz it can sound sliiiiightly thin at times .
Got to be my favourite active band in the world right now, can't wait to hear more songs from this album and to see them live, sheer vocal velocity right there!
Just saw these guys last night in Dundee IL and had the opportunity to meet the band and have a picture taken they are the coolest guys with some great music
Which other Tremonti solo can stand up to this solo. Im speaking for myself but this is the best solo Mark has done in his band, Tremonti. The new singles are fucking awesome. Can't wait for the album to be released!!
NO SHIT RIGHT? MY LUST FOR THE FRESHIE FRESH BROUGHT ME HERE and the new 7D is fucking amazing as usual. Damn, sorry. I was a bit excited that someone else gets the big picture lol
What a great song from the Legendary Mark Tremonti, excellent riffs and an incredible solo. Not to mention he's upped his vocal game, one of my favourite Tremonti choruses on this song I think. Anyway keep on rocking out friends of RUclips! 🔥🙌👊🤟👏👍🎶🔥
I just discovered Tremonti today listening to the title cut A Dying Machine. Wasn’t really my thing, but couldn’t deny the talent and production so I thought I had better investigate further. This song is badass! Will definitely be listening to more of Tremonti 👍
Isn't it interesting that when all the pillars of life that you trusted and depended on fall, there will always be music. Something that never changes. 💪💓
the solo on this song is absolutely killer! for the most part i was "ehh" on the song until the solo hit and then i was dead. like, i died. put me in the casket and send me off. but wait... must survive.... to listen.... to more... TREMONTI
i know I'm going to make a lot of people mad but this is just MY OPINION. Mark Tremonti is a PHENOMENAL Guitarist and I really enjoy listening to Alter Bridge. I hear A LOT of Megadeath in this music. As I hope most of you know, Megadeath is an 80's Metal Band back when REAL METAL......not the cheesey Warrant stuff......was REAL METAL. This song reminds me of EVERY OTHER "2000's" era "Metal song released since the death of Grunge. I'm glad he's taking influences from real bands such as Megadeath, Priest and others from when Metal was Metal but I'm really over this style of 2000's Metal. If you want something different, you really need to check out European Metal Bands like Primal Fear, Stratavarious, Hammerfall among others. It's fresh, Different and brings back the feel of REAL METAL. Keep Rippin' that Guitar Mark, you are one of the few who kept Hard Rock Guitar Solo's alive during the start of the 2000's and I thank you for that!!!
I liked Dust a lot but man these three singles blow away everything on Dust so far. You can tell this album is going to be well produced and extremely diverse as well in regards to what you'll get musically. All 3 singles have been completely different from each other and all 3 songs show a growth in Tremonti's song writing as well. I am really looking forward to this album in 3 weeks. If the rest of the album is as good as these 3 tracks we've gotten so far, it may top the debut.
I agree. Maybe not in this way, that each of 3 new songs are better than everything form previous album. No. For me The dust - song is very special, and solo from this track is consequence of Tremonti style...
You can tell Mark is trying to inject some classic metal into these new songs. I mean, this song straight up sounds like Megadeth's Symphony of Destruction at points.
Love that Gustav Holst - Bringer of War reference in the the rhythm of the song (at least in the first few secs). Proof that tremonti will appreciate even classical music
Garrett Whitlock kills it on the drums. He's inspired me to pick up the sticks after a 20 year hiatus. Tremonti is getting played to death on my playlist! But I'm so sad Garrett is gone!
The 18 people who disliked this, I am sorry: No simply no, you are wrong. This is epic, Tremonti is a brilliant artist. He is underrated he is bloody brilliant, sheer brilliance.
Wow, this song is dope! Very cool riffs, drumming was on fuckin point (per usual), and Tremonti's vocals were top notch! If I wasn't excited for this new album already (not sure why I wouldn't be), this song definitely made me more so! Keep up the awesome work boys!
Sweet Jeebus this tune is tight as Hell, and I don't mean colloquially. I mean, that's a fucking tight, spot-on arrangement that distills the rage and delivers it quickly without dropping a single gut/nut punch. I cannot believe how much more I expected these incredible riffs and phrasing to draw out (especially for a full 5 minute song) but holy crap after several listens if they didn't resist the urge and left out the exact right beats/notes and stitched it together so smoothly without breaking off any of the jagged edges that we all adore so much in our little metalhead core beings. Thank you for being and being able to communicate that which I cannot. I guess modern music appreciation and social issues mean that one has to resonate with the message of the song as well as the music; even though many would argue they are the same thing, I would not. But super powerful words. Thanks again for staying them in a way that so many will hear and continue to resonate with. Enough resonation and the signal starts to get some feedback and loop around to the input and regenerate lol Maybe mad love is just an uncontrolled spiritual feedback loop stuck in a permanent race condition...the universal theory of everything... Be well and much love, my friends. It's good to just be, sometimes.
yeah, I dodn't get any vibe here from that. if anything at first listen i gathered it was about climate change or something like that. Though I'm not really in to Trump. the guys have expressed they are not trump followers in the past but don't wish tog et too political with the bands they are in.
Tremonti continuing to be underappreciated almost everywhere.

one of the TRUE hard rock bands still alive today. congrats to tremonti for sticking with his roots and seriously never dissapointing!
Was in the middle of class...went straight to the bathroom to listen to this!! 🤘🤘
Puretone I’m in the restaurant toilet haha
I skipped class and went home so I can listen to it in peace
Woah cool
UncleSam TheJew i came home to listen too haha
I'm listening in my job.
I don't care if somebody call me, I won't pick the phone.
That harmonic change in the chorus totally caught me off guard!
THIS IS GOLD!
PS: I had to point out that the whole band sounds TIGHT! And Tanner is really good on the bass, nice lines at 2:40
saidoterodiseno Tanner doesnt write for the albums. He only tours.
Really? Who's playing bass in the recordings?
saidoterodiseno eric
I believe Tanner is playing on this album. I'm pretty sure Wolfgang is too busy doing his own thing right now so they brought Tanner in to record. Tanner's a killer bassist so I'm glad to see his work on the actual recordings now!

TREMONSTER!!! 🤘🏻🤖🤘🏻
Thank you Tremonti, you're one of the most valuable things in my life.
Venom Dante I
lol didn't mean to post that lol
The level of consistency Tremonti has is unprecedented.
I can almost hear Myles with his falsetto in the background of the chorus... I know he's not there, but I can still hear him.
Keith Gee That would be Mr. Eric Friedman. Killer harmonies
ambrooks5 Have you heard Eric's first band Submersed?
I think it’d be cool if they played some of these songs at ab shows
I love the chaoticness and the energy of the song
"chaos"
Honestly, you can just hear how comfortable Mark is with singing now. It's bound to make for a great album!
He isn't a natural singer, and I'm blown a way by how much work he's put into crafting his voice. I think my favorite instrument on this album is the throat.
The solo is BEAUTIFULLY ugly & raw & badass... it fits the tone of the song perfectly. Love it.
How does he keep doing it?
Oisin McPhillips It's pure gravy
My thoughts exactly dude! What a tune! :)
He's a machine..
Because Tremonti is a genius that's why.
Yep he's NOT a dying machine. You see what I did there?
Solo is absolutely killer!!!!
92dunbar sounds like he's been listening to Dave Mustaine a bit, I loved it!
Tremonti IS SERIOUSLY TOO GENIUS AND TOO TALENTED FOR WORDS. Lyrically, vocally, and instrumentally, HE IS A HEAVY METAL GOD
The solo and the solo base sounds kinda Megadeth. I love it! So heavy and well harmonized!
dworlitz Definitely had a huge Megadeth vibe. The solo felt like Dave and Marty combined into one
Getting real Megadeth vibes in the verse and solo. So good!
Guys, buy the album, we need to support amazing music like this!
Heavy energy but I feel like All I Was still had the best melodies and choruses for the most part. Im just a sucker for a great hook is all.
That crunchy chuggy tone is delicious
Wood2Box should be through his mt15, would've used it in this album for sure
Wood2Box I called it the zig zag tone
As soon as I read this it happened!!
Yes
How on earth is this guy:
So hardworking
Fucking handsome
So epic
Talented
A monster!!
Words can't describe the sheer epicness that is Mark Tremonti
"Mark Tremonti."
That was pretty easy
I know. One of the most underrated guitarists/songwriters in the last 20 yrs.
Which other Tremonti solo can stand up to this solo. Im speaking for myself but this is the best solo Mark has done in his band, Tremonti. The new singles are fucking awesome. Can't wait for the album to be released!!
Oh, hey! New Sevendust and new Tremonti! This is great stuff.
NO SHIT RIGHT? MY LUST FOR THE FRESHIE FRESH BROUGHT ME HERE and the new 7D is fucking amazing as usual. Damn, sorry. I was a bit excited that someone else gets the big picture lol
This is magic...trust me ...no music...just magic...sooo awesome
Amazing!!! Keep up the amazing music Tremonti! Come tour in New Jersey!!!
"The only war we could EVER lose is at hand" would have been an even better lyric imo. More at stake. Still a banger of a song.
What a great song from the Legendary Mark Tremonti, excellent riffs and an incredible solo. Not to mention he's upped his vocal game, one of my favourite Tremonti choruses on this song I think. Anyway keep on rocking out friends of RUclips! 🔥🙌👊🤟👏👍🎶🔥
Some Megadeth in there...... Whether AB or Tremonti, Mark has been pure platinum the last 10 years.
Lest we not forget he was with Creed for a good while. He sang a little then and delivered nice riffs and solos like always
No wonder he has someone called "Friedman" in the band 🤔
Tremonster absolutely nailing it again! Can't wait for this album release!
METAL IS FOREVER .!!!! TREMONTMETAL WORLD MUSIC
I just discovered Tremonti today listening to the title cut A Dying Machine. Wasn’t really my thing, but couldn’t deny the talent and production so I thought I had better investigate further. This song is badass! Will definitely be listening to more of Tremonti 👍
Like him or not Tremonti is such a musical genius
God damn! Mark just keeps on getting better and better doesn't he.
This album is simply breathtaking to listen.
This is the first time I've listened to Tremonti. I'm impressed.
Who in the hell disliked this? Another killer track!
The Nomadic Railfan i dont dislike this..... but its not as powerful as the older stuff imo. This new stuff doesnt grab me like his previous songs do.
JesseBerger I feel like it will when the whole album comes out and we get the full scope of the story and concept. It'll be amazing.
systematic11 ill get the album for sure, im just not hearing it with the 3 songs so far....
i was just watching one of tremonti's guitar lessons soon as i exit the vid i find this song, i don't think life can get any better
Tremonti is the best riff and solo writer!!!
Isn't it interesting that when all the pillars of life that you trusted and depended on fall, there will always be music. Something that never changes. 💪💓
Marc Tremonti is such a talented guy, vastly underrated.

I don’t believe anything will top the debut. But he has gotten close!
This is the only decent song so far. Dust kills this.
I respectfully disagree.
Lurch Murphy That was clear from your original comment. But cool man.
You can tell Mark is trying to inject some classic metal into these new songs. I mean, this song straight up sounds like Megadeth's Symphony of Destruction at points.
if there is ever a song that should be entrance music for a boxer its this.absolutely brilliant
Those solos!😘😘 Is he a human? No he is treMONSTER!!!!!!
Beast level Tremonti since Creed reached another level I e of my favorites, jam on
Love that Gustav Holst - Bringer of War reference in the the rhythm of the song (at least in the first few secs). Proof that tremonti will appreciate even classical music
This man (and band) is an absolute beast, can't wait for the album
the melody of the chorus is insane
Mark Tremonti can play in standard tuning?
I review this album on my channel if anyone is interested
How are there not more views on this song? This is absolutely brilliant! Drums, vocals, bass, guitar, lyrics....everything about it \w/
This reminds me so much of "Cry of Achillies" from Alter Bridge's "Fortress" album. One of my all time favourite albums. This song is amazing!
Garrett Whitlock kills it on the drums. He's inspired me to pick up the sticks after a 20 year hiatus. Tremonti is getting played to death on my playlist! But I'm so sad Garrett is gone!
Any clue why he left?

Aprreciatin Tremoni...what a kickass band..My only prob is ab or tremonti..?both kick ass i put tremonti slightly above ab..both Rock.
Beyond pumped for this album! Thank you for yet another hit guys!
Kick ass as usual. The hooks keep getting better, music is faster, harder and solos are great as always.
Yes... Love this track... Riff is perfect

Incredible tune! I love the video as well! It's so much better than the A dying machine lyric video! TREMONSTER!
The sound, the songs, just great!!! \m/
Off the scales again....the drums are epic.
Music sounds like something from Megadeth's Rust in Peace, but with Tremonti's voice! PERFECT!
LOVE the drop D! The solo reminds me of Megadeths Peace Sells solo. This song literally rocked the picture off the wall.
Thank you Napalm records ! This is Metalhead GOLD \m/ love it !!!!!!
Good god. I love it already. I WANT THIS RECORD
Chorus is Amazing..
Tremonti is awesome!!!!!!
Ace of Spades vibes 😎
I am glad I am not the only one who got that vibe!
thought the same shitt
Definitely, I love how varied his influences are on this record
I got a Megadeth vibe
Exactly what I thought
3:32 I have officially died, Mark you have done it again my friend!
I can see this song takes a lot of inspirations from Megadeth. I like it!
EDJR0 I'm glad I wasn't the only one who caught some Megadeth vibes from this
I hope this isn't anti Trump because first of all it would just be blatantly inaccurate.
yeah, I dodn't get any vibe here from that. if anything at first listen i gathered it was about climate change or something like that. Though I'm not really in to Trump. the guys have expressed they are not trump followers in the past but don't wish tog et too political with the bands they are in.
It's a concept album. It's a song about a part of his sci-fi book. Don't dig too deeply.
Well, the video gave me some Countdown To Extinction and Peace Sells vibes
