As a gutter installer for 20 years the worry when transitioning to the roof from the ladder is that the bottom or feet could slip out of you push on those handles. On dirt or grass no worries but over concrete or a deck idk. I always like looking at ladder accessories anyway so hope they keep coming up with new stuff.
Not sure. We don't really deal with OSHA. But if an adjuster isn't using these, which do extend at least 3 feet above the roof line, their ladder should be at least 3 feet above the roof line.
I'm not sure I would be able to get use to going directly over the top of the ladder. I can see how they would help. I just call in a ladder assist if its sketchy hah.
Yeah, it's weird at first. But then you realize that you're not having to do that spin move out over air to get back on your ladder. And you've got real handlebars to hang on to.

This is the content we need,I wish you did a full review using it though
Thanks for posting! That makes me feel more confident about using a ladder!
Yeah, it's a pretty neat gadget!
They are OSHA approved. Werner has aluminum ones for a prettier penny.
What about osha rules regarding length of ladder above the roof/ladder contact point? Do these extensions meet the requirements? Yo.

These are great but they get top heavy. Would be great to have aluminum ones
Never liked my Ladder extending much above the roof. If you fall hard against this extension I feel you could dislodge the feet.
💥 Lots of links in the description section but after watching and scrolling I still have no idea what this product is called.

I use those, work great.
You can maintain a three point contact with these
The issue i have is letting the ladder down with them on
Strap a 2x4 on each side. Why pay 250.00
Good point. The point is just to have something for balance when dismounting/mounting the ladder from the roof.
OSHA approved?
Unknown. I've never heard of OSHA showing up on a cat site.
Yes
Vague
Lol what's vague about "you need ladder extensions??"
If you need these...ladder work is not for you.
You are damn right, But when your chasing that dollar all of a sudden its for you.
