Brave is one of my favorite Disney movies, and Merida is hands down my favorite Disney Princess! Everyone tells me that if I was any Disney Princess, then I would be Merida! I am of Scottish heritage, and I love my roots and the folk stories and music! I have a uke and love your tutorials, so thank you!❤
I love this music. I already can play it on my tin whistle and now I will be able to play it on my uke too, thanks ❤️ It was great to see you playing a tin whistle!
Thank you Katie for another wonderful tutorial. I recently found you on youtube and I really enjoy watching your tutorials, they are very easy to understand and you always sound bright and cheerful which helps me cheer me up✨ I'm from Japan, I love irish music and play few of irish instruments, but I'm also interested in playing ukulele and you have definitely made me into ukulele mode!!!
Us Polar Bears have found that the thumb strum and arpegiation works best for our paws and having given up on trying to finger pick ( impossible for me ) are making good progress with the chord melody style. I have a partly disabled right arm and now am much less frustrated by its limitations in my playing. 😊
@@OneMusicSchool I started in March this year. Why didn't I know about this beautiful instrument when I was younger. It has brought me so much peace and love and many new friends in this welcoming community. Saving for one of those Petrox Ukes now to add to my Cocobolo and the Da Silva I'm picking up tomorrow. Keep the videos coming. But for the likes of you and Jodi ( Girl meets Uke ) and the late Ukulele Mike, I think I might have gone gaga by now. Blessings to you all.
I love Jodi! She’s a sweetheart ❤️. Mike was my moms favorite, and he was amazing. I’m so happy that you found an outlet that is positive. Music is so healing. Lots of love, and keep playing.
My favorite Pixar film. My daughter will be so surprised when I break this out when she comes to visit. She goes as Merida for Halloween every year, as she has VERY curly red hair.
@@OneMusicSchool I can't promise anything, as I'd have to set up hidden cameras to capture it. She dislikes performing even more than I do. She loves to play multiple instruments and sings far better than I do. I see what I can do.
It truly is a beautiful instrument. It’s not mine, but it was a joy to play. Here’s the review just in case you didn’t see it. It’s a gem. ruclips.net/video/0CEl6bjyoEs/видео.html
Oh my stinking stars, that was absolutely fabulous. Now I don’t watch Disney, although I pick up bits and pieces from my little dollbabies at school, I’m gonna have to go and watch this movie! This is rather a long post, but I have to tell you, I just about lost my mind when you started playing the penny whistle. I was like, no she didn’t!!! I had to stop and go back and play the intro like 10 times!!! I love the penny whistle. I was a flute/piccolo performance major in college, and I love the music for penny whistle. Anyway, that being said, what is the key of yours? Is it in “G”? Because I’ve gotta play this for my kiddos when we start back to school! Now, I don’t know what language this is, and I am MORE than sure my heavy Southern accent is gonna mangle it to pieces, but I’m gonna give it a good try. You never cease to amaze me, Ms. Katie...beautiful voice, fabulous penny whistle (babygirl, it sounded like something you’d hear in a real movie production), and that Uke is GOR-ge-ous!!! Thank you!😮😮😮❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you!!!!! I'm glad you liked it. This is the first time that I played the penny whistle on my channel. I've always played them in church and other places, but here's my first video featuring the instrument.
One Music School You're welcome :D it went well with the ukulele. I can't wait to practice the pronunciation and the singing while I play the ukulele. I love the song so much. Thank you for the tutorial 💓
Did your mom speak Gaelic? I am of Irish descent but it's way too many generations back to have picked up Any Gaelic. I love hearing you sing and the added bonus of hearing that beautiful Petros tenor ukulele is wonderful. Thanks for the lift today.
Hey Katie, i really like your videos. I recently start to playing ukulele, and i'd like to learn the ukulele chords for O (fly on) by Coldplay. Can you make the ukulele tutorial for that song? because i couldn't find a ukulele tutorial video for that song. Thank you
Thank you! I'm coming from classical/Spanish guitar. Your tutorials are very helpful. I got a Cordoba 15CM at your recommendation. The guitars I currently play are Cordoba C10 and 45 limited. I would like a luthier guitar... but college children. 😂😅
I hear you! I want one as well, but being a mom...I need to save for her. I get it 😀. I’m so happy that this channel has helped you!!! I’m also glad to hear the 15 CM is treating you well.
Oh, that was lovely! I had forgotten that song and i like Brave. Is there a place where the the Gaelic is written out phonenitically (sp)? Looking at the words and hearing how it sounds are 2 very different sounds! Thank you, nice tutorial!
Hi Everyone! Who is your favorite Disney Character?
Hades from Hercules but with Polish dubbing 😊😊😊
One Music School Merida is definitely one of my favs. I'm also an archer so that's a plus ^-^
OOOO! I love that movie. "Go the Distance" is one of my favorites.
Wow! Two votes for Hades! So cool and unexpected.
Elsa from Frozen😊

I’m so sorry to keep you guessing g. I did t want to spoil it 😀. I love Milan. I did reflection last year, and it is still one of my favorite songs.
OMG, what a beautiful ukulele, Congratulations!
Beautifully played and sung!
As always, thank you for posting and sharing.

Awwwww!
Beautiful song, beautiful singing and the whistle adds extra sweetness to your video. Beautiful Petros ukulele too. Thanks for the thumb strum tips.
I already knew you had a lilt in your voice but I did nae know that you had the Gaelic too. That uke is as sweet as an Irish harp too. 😊.
