This is when I started playing, right after the free fly event. Although it was the worst time to come into from the sounds of it, I still love playing it haha 😂 guess the space nerd in me doesn’t care that things don’t work. Looking forward to 3.19 though.
It's been like that for a long time, low population servers run a lot better with lower latency, nothing has changed or will change much until server messing comes, best we got as an update was a server cap increase but as you can see it degrades over time as it gets more full. I keep telling people this is the main cause of the problem and bugs, though not so much bugs but server performance which seems like bugs, updating the position of everything.
I watch your videos bcs I am very intrested in Star Citizen, havent bought any access to the game yet. I am coming from Counter Strike. I am used to a 64 Tick rate server but spoiled by 128 tick rate servers from 3rd parties. a 15-25 tick rate sounds horrible. i know its not a competetive game, but you still encounter other real people who aren't friendly. In counter strike if you die you have made a mistake or the enemy was just better, you cant blame the server or the game for your actions. I am kinda scared that this will ruin my expirence bcs I am so used to a polished game with very snappy movement and aim. I think I am still gonna try it out bcs of the awesome community.
