I love the way everyone comments about doing it “this way” or “that way” but what you dont realise is it does take incredible patience and talent to do a job like this, i have attempted to do work like that and i thought it looked easy intil i gave it a go and my god its difficult!
The initial suction on the thin lay on coat they put on first after wetting, will help.with it sticking. It would have been far better to have deep scratched those internal perimeters on previous coat. You cannot beat a mechanical key. Render detail that thickness needs coarse plaster sand to stop it cracking. Remember that heat is a problem working with these materials. You can see some of the cracking on the previous work . Probably heat shrinkage or left wet and thick, then not rubbed and consolidated as it dried. Filled and painted probably. A cool day in Scotland is better conditions for that, rather than that heat. Hats off to them anyway, making a living with Craft.
I am a woman, but I do like work in this kind of projects. I done a full concrete work on wall in my home, was really hard to do. The people which said: Nothing special, why this or that... I think they never done anything with cement. I made a lot works at home, included changed all tides on one of my bathrooms. If cement is enough wet doesnt need the wall must to be humid. Just when you add the concrete on the rustic superfice you can wet it, and not too much. Its so logical this wall is new, and isnt be "cure" yet. I really appreciate this hardest workers, because I cant built a house by myself. So, I think we need them- And to critizise is more easy than do a work like this.
imagine doing that 10 hrs a day, 6 days a week? technique was good and they definitely used a bonding agent. at first I thought they were going to eye fuck the whole thing but then came out the straight edge, first to set the thickness and then to pull parallel from the inside corner..... using the lid from the bonding agent bucket was smart!! one less tool to load and if it gets damaged there always another lid in the truck the same exact size.
adding mortar 1" thick like that onto a cured vertical scratch coat without any acrylic additive or polymers and it will start breaking off and delaminating within weeks if not days. Also if they wanted it to be done in half the time, they could have just attached foam and lath and then stucco over it. But regardless, they did a good job with the tools they have and it looks good, straight and symmetrical
I think that this kind of work can add a bit of extra value to a building because it's not necessarily something that can be just bought at any building supplies establishment can it. I prefer to use lime mortar for pargetting because it's a lot more environment friendly than cement and if you slake it yourself, a little cheaper and longer lasting when it's done right.
вот это называется узбек строй ни разу не смочил поверхность перед нанисением материала за что их и люблю ))) демонтаж 50 процентов плюс монтаж )) узбеки не уезжайте от нас а то я без работы останусь ))
Americans can build a big cement wall. But it is craftsmen from other countries that would make it fabulous. They just doubled the price of the wall. Very smart. Using the lid from the 5 gal bucket made it genius. I laughed...
myrc3 dot com RodgaDodga PhatCat shut the fuck up. Americans can but foreigners have to... just shut the fuck up. Americans launched an electric sports car into space and landed the boosters that sent it there. did the forigners put decorations on the side of that shit? did you decide to shut the fuck up yet?
What all the haters don't understand is that work like this takes certain type of patients and talent. It's not about oh you could have done it this way or that way. Yes it does take some talent. If it doesn't, let some Joe smoe do it and see what's it look like.
No bonding or sizing - I have to admit, this is Amazing - I could never do that...I mean, I would never do that as it will crack and fall off a bit faster than the client was perhaps expecting!
Notice how they squat down with their heels also touching the ground. I've heard that is the proper way of doing it. I wonder if it makes it easier, but unsure about strain on the knees. Here in the West, we are so accustomed to doing it in the way where we are just on the balls of our feet without our heels also to the floor.
Unbelievable but you was the first I read dont judge the work of them. Its so hard made this kind of works, and I think many whom dont appreciate it is because are office employees or just spent time watching videos on YT. I am a woman, and I made a full room concrete wall by my self... was so hard to do. So for me, anyone who works on construction deserve my respect.
You know how surfaces are...I've revisited jobs 10-15 years later and I am shocked to see it still intact...But, you get spot failure a few years in...Easy to fix but; often people don't notice it...
Jun Mark Nino Caynap Not really! They're using brick mortar on vertical surface! Won't last 3 years! Old school 3rd world construction! Stucco and Styrofoam would of been quicker and last longer! Look better to!
Super work
nice techniques

Better idea is make a mold with the corner and another mold width the plain piece and save a lot of time
Nice job
Superb
Very nice, keep up the good work
Oh... Hard-workers though... Amazing 'hard-way' workers!

Masonry set to a typical '80s R & B Groove. Now I've seen it all!
if westerners tried to build this it'd take them weeks to from start to finish!

Applying it on a dry wall lol, would love to see this amazing work over a month or so. 😂
Marko Solar they put a very wet mix on first, then built up with a thicker mix. Did you Even watch the video?
LOL, you clearly did not watch the whole video. Haters gonna hate, butt hurt pussy.
😆💃💃💃💃💃 Dancing 🎶
like the 80's break dance music
That music was like a remake of big trouble in little china town going to a disco in the 70s
Well, Now that song is in my head. Good thing is, i know all the words
bet you lot think that was sped up dont you! nope..just really really experienced
Прикольно!

law35penn what kind of patience, mental patience, hospital patience, ??

I noticed that undercoat also.
Somebody is easily amazed ? Not me!
Very nice! Are you seen my video about cutting glass?
Great video, well made. Please what was the mix used after they wet the wall, some kind of bonding mix and then the render mix. Many thanks.

IS THIS VIETNAM ???

I couldn't stop fucking watching this.
Excelente trabajo,lo único malo es el desperdicio de tanta mezcla aunque así es la albañilería
Very good skills show there, also will last along time unlike modern materials.
I don't miss labouring at all
Uchiha Hikaku I second that.

LISTEN BOYS, baton it for the same effect, add some fibaglass mesh ,unibond walls were needed,1 hours work , 24 hrs remove battons and dress, simples
The guy in blue is very flexible. My knees would be hurting after been bent in that position in less than a minute
Will they know what will happen in three days with that concrete?
Great job guys

I just woke up. Why am i watching this
Good luck
Great canvas for graffiti, complete with frame. Sorry, but that's just the way it is these days.
A bit of fast forward on the video would have been nice, rather than make us watch it all.
I feel underwhelmed although I stayed for the funky music , credits please
If you're in the type of climate that you don't have too crazy a swing in temps, you can do that...Here in the NE. It would fail
You'd be surprised...It depends on your mix...We use A octoweld in the mix...You can stick it to painted surfaces and it stays...
You know how surfaces are...I've revisited jobs 10-15 years later and I am shocked to see it still intact...But, you get spot failure a few years in...Easy to fix but; often people don't notice it...
C bien pour qui on construit L'A.A.D.L
If it looks good it must be right.
unless they put some epoxy additive in their mortar this will spall right off over time
very smart technique.👍

song is my dreams by maui ogo
Esses caras não sabem chapar uma massa na parede, isso aí eu faço na metade do tempo
Just cut them in using wood. Way faster and probably cheaper. Damn
Looks like a bridge to me. When it drugs it will be hollow and eventually crack and fall off
Use some 1" foam . And finish in 15 min .
No way that job cost more than $20.
Good example how not doing concrete work......
Nothing special, Yeah looks good until it drys out and cracks and falls away from wall......
Why dont they get a template instead of measuring it again and again?
The music is really annoying
Hii
There is some thing call eps or stayrofoam coating you can use it and fix it in 10min ( alpha foam ) see this on youtube 😏
