You really have inspired me to not give up playing animal crossing, the way you talk about your island with so much love is admirable. I'm curious to know if you have ever played any of the older animal crossing games like new leaf or city folk? If you haven't I would definitely recommend new leaf even on an emulator because I can see you getting so much enjoyment out of it. Love the videos ❤

Hi I just want to share that the zodiac statues are call 生肖 in Chinese and they come in the order: Rat, Cow, Tiger, Bunny, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Chicken, Dog and Pig! The order comes from a legend of the animals racing to cross a river. Also I love how clam your mom’s voice is! Her island is super cool too
I loved the new additions. The celestial bathroom, the cozy Christmas basement. Just amazing! The butterfly area was really cool too!
I just discovered the first island tour days ago, so it was super awesome that this came out almost immediately right after... for me anyway lol.

Hello again. I've been an ACNH fan since it was given to me as a gift by my son. When I first saw the ads for it and saw, it in the store, I thought it would be a boring game until I started to play it. I'm 60 yrs old and never thought I would be considered a gamer.🤣 I know I have more than 1800 hrs played. I don't have a completed island, and neither do I think I will ever have one because I'm constantly changing things here and there. I'm originally from an island, so I'm keeping mine as one. I love your Mom's island. I do watch videos of beautifully designed islands, yet I've noticed that too many decorations cause a lot of lagging issues, and I don't want that for my island. Message for your Mom: Continue to play and enjoy what you're doing. Don't pay mind to the naysayers and negative people. I guess they have nothing better to do. Sharing videos of your island and showing yourself to others through RUclips shows that you're brave by doing that. Thank you both for the video.

RUclips just recommended me the first video, and then I saw this update one in the sidebar. This is so sweet and wholesome. Firstly, I have to mention right off the bat that your mother is an excellent designer, both interior and exterior. Watching this kind of makes me feel bad for selling my copy of NH (I was such a derp and did it just before Nintendo dropped the Happy Home DLC aaarrrgghh). But I think I got what I could out of the game, and it's much more enjoyable now just to see what others are doing. Thanks, Mama Doyle, for taking the time to share your island with us!

I have a suggestion for Mrs Doyle so she has more to do! If she adds more users to her switch she can build her own cafes and shops or whatever on those users!
I love her videos sooo much! I’m a “gamer” mom as well and ACNH has been my home away from home when I need a break from momming and wifing 😂 It’s so easy to get caught up in the “perfection” ACNH content out there and to become dissatisfied with your own island but she is such a refreshing reminder to be individuals and to play it however we want. Thank you for sharing your second home with us :)

i watched them both in a row, i'm 225 hours in and i am glad to hear i have a lot longer to fully enjoy it! i love imagining the interpersonal relationships with the villagers and making them spread slang to each other. did she up her home storage? i love custom designs on items like my headphones have dark side of the moon on em. i am so happy to be on the same spectrum as your mom! tell ruby sue i said hi

I was apprehensive about trying out Stardew Valley given the art style at first as well BUT it was an amazing decision to try it out. Give it a good try because I would love to watch you experience it for the first time. The music alone is incredible.

While I don't have much playtime with Wild World or City Folk, I'd say Population Growing and New Leaf would be pretty fun to play if she were interested in checking them out!

Loved Your video and Your island. So happy to have stumbled on it. I hope You get at least a million views with this one. BTW I'm 74 with two switches. Between them I have over 11,000 hours on animal crossing and still going strong. As for other cozy games, I would suggest Palia. It is absolutely gorgeous on PC, but is also recently released on Switch. It is a MMO which means You can team up with real people, or You can be like me who avoids real people and bumbles along by Yourself. It is the right price (free) but You can purchase fancy clothing with real money. They've only got 10 bucks from me for a cat type animal. They would make way more money imho if You could purchase tractors or sprinkles/etc with real money, It's updated about every six weeks. The soon to be released update is adding flowers to the game and You can breed hybrids. The house You build is far better than AC and might be a dream for You because You CAN keep adding rooms. And unlike AC things can be rotated and set down at angles. It has farming, hunting (love love that) fishing, mining, romances (ick) basically all the cozy game stuff.

It's not AC but there's a game named Garden of the Sea that has a very peaceful mood and it's for VR, I def recommend playing if you have the chance!!!

She should try playing some of the older animal crossing games, I loved wild world as a kid. And I think the interactions with villagers in the older games feel more unique and personal than in new horizons
