    The train you boarded from the SGR station is the Nairobi Commuter Rail. It has stops in the CBD and there are a few stations in the Nairobi Metropolitan Area where it operates. Nairobi traffic congestion is being fixed slowly but surely. We hope the next government continues with the growth trajectory.

    • @muragegitari6052
      @muragegitari6052 2 года назад +2

      @@TK-pi1vr I understand. About the accent it's just my personal view. Sometimes I find SA women and Kenyan women speaking English in a similar accent and speed. About Afrika with a "k" , again this is my definition of all Africans whose descendants are of the - I hate this word so apologies in advance - "negroid race". I decided on this definition to exclude people who claim to be African when convenient eg. Arabs in North Africa, majority of who are racist towards Afrikans; eg. remember the selling of Afrikans trying to cross the Sahara in Libya. White South Africans now want to claim to be Afrikan. Although skin colour for a specific geo location on earth it is only determined by concentration of UV rays for people indegineous to that location (r sq =0.86 according to prof Nina Labronski), this single human anatomical feature has caused severe misery for Afrikans for centuries. Using my definition, therefore, Afrikan countries are those whose dominant population is Afrikan hence may include Haiti and Jamaica. Not surprising at all considering France has been f*cking Haiti for over a century. Its my simple way of trying to understand why Afrikans are the most disrespected people in the planet. I am happy to discuss this further. What did you study?

    Uhmmm we do have trains that travel between cities… ever heard of shosholozo and blue train?

    • @AnathiTshabe
      @AnathiTshabe  2 года назад +3

      Affordability and efficiency. Both the blue train and shosholozo wouldn’t meet the criteria. The blue train is a luxury train. (The SGR is not). It costs over R10k for a ticket on the blue train.
      Also as mentioned in the video the SGR operates 7 days a week, 3 times in one direction. I, personally, don’t know of an affordable and efficient train service that could meet this criteria in SA… but I’m open to correction 😊

    • @Og8821
      @Og8821 2 года назад +1

      @@AnathiTshabe I’ve used shosholoza Before it’s quite cheap,comfortable,efficient with a dope scenic route if you travelling to Cpt. Another thing to possibly consider is there are quite a number of options wether by road or air to travel between cities. I’m not sure if people would utilise that option more as suppose to driving or using low cost airlines🤷🏽‍♂️ especially Jhb-Durban…with that said I would rather have bullet train between the cities than an SGR🙂

    • @AnathiTshabe
      @AnathiTshabe  2 года назад +9

      @@Og8821 I still think SGR operates way better than any other train service in SA. It’s okay to admit that we could learn something from another African country. 😉

    • @AnathiTshabe
      @AnathiTshabe  2 года назад +5

      @@Og8821We both know the Guatrain isn’t affordable though. Plus it isn’t considered a long distance train. I’d like to see it’s expansion to other provinces and cheaper tickets, but that’s wishful thinking. 😅 Come join us this side!
