@@TheBurnsStuff we had the same one in our 22 Sierra, the compressor vented Freon into the living space after about 1 1/2 years. We replaced it with a Frigidaire Gallery since we full time. Not a pleasant experience by any means.
This is awesome!! I can picture this sitting a little bit back away from a beautiful lake somewhere, a dock with a little boat tied to it and a couple of jet skis 😂! Ok I got a little too carried away, but doesn’t that sound awesome?😊
Nice unit. Good call on adding the half bath. I think every RV manufacturer should hire you for an honest assessment of their unit because you have a great sense of how the layout should be. Example is the fireplace on the side of the bed instead of in front as you mentioned.
Wow! Love all the windows. That is the most favorite part! Just love how tall the interior is. The kitchen is so nice. Love the bath room. That is most bigist bathroom in a Rv. The living room is so big. The lofts are nice. I am surprised how tall the loftes are. The bedroom is nice. Like the colors. Love this one. Thank you JD
Love this tour. Love the door style and new cabinet wood style. The flooring and backsplash are much nicer too. Definitely considering one of these for our family of 8.
Honestly the half bath seems like a miss. They need to make the access from the master bedroom and put all the closet/drawer storage from the bedroom inside the half bath. If I’m coming out of the master to use the restroom (or a kid coming down from the loft), the difference between using the half bath or the bathroom at the back is 4 seconds of walking. Give us parents a private (half) bath and this layout would be a win.
Hey JD, I hope you're having a great day! I really like this View44 fifth wheel! I like what they are doing on the outside and the inside of this fifth wheel! There is only a couple of things that I would change, that's the fireplace in the bedroom and the AC vents. I would like to see the fireplace in the bedroom in front of the bed instead of the side of the bed. The second thing I would change is the AC vents to the 360 blade vents so you would get more of the cold air from the AC. I like the strip lighting that they're using. I like the light strip that they are using with the awning. Could you get more than four tie sown straps for this unit? I'm glad that they give you a bath and a half in this unit. I like the roll down blackout shades that they are using an that they are automatic! Thank you JD for showing us this View fifth wheel an giving us all the information on it. Your number one fan and friend Leonard from North Carolina.
If the long-term goal is to never ever move it once it is in place, then it would seem more economical to get a small mobile-home. But if you own a large heavy-duty truck and can afford to take a month long vacation each year, then maybe this might be a solution if it fits your needs. But I would say that if you plan to move it twice per year, your better off with a large fifth-wheel. One perk to having it permanent is once you decide to sell it, it should easily sell if it is still in good condition. Whereas, you might have trouble selling a moibile-home or tiny-home or fifth-wheel. I am certain that if you set it up on your own property, you are going to want to build a large wooden-deck, a pole-barn over it, and a large shed to put all your toys and tools. Once you start making it more permanent, you would then want a garage and other stuff just like all the RUclipsrs who claim to live off the grid.
This is a very nice trailer and if I had some land I’d seriously consider this, but there are some issues that might steer me away. First of all, I think the bedroom cabinets look cheap, like vinyl wrap, at least on video. I agree with you the fireplace would be better at the end of the bed. The apron front on the cabinet in the 1/2 bath should have been lower to hide the plumbing, but perhaps that’s just me. The front room and sofa is nice, but hope the sectional makes into a bed. I don’t like that the main bath is on the opposite side of the bedroom, but it is what it is. Overall though, like I said, it’s a nice unit.
There where good improvements for 2024/2025 3rd axle 1/2 bath lighting ( inside and out ). I almost bought one but concern was wood framing since I'm in high wind zone 2 only 20 minutes from Mytrle Beach. Another upgrade should be ditch the furance and put 2 heat pumps since this is not a true 4 season unit with only single pane windows the heat pump would be plenty . The larger Hampton trailers are better quality build and aluminum contruction but you lose the 1/2 bath . I'm leaning more going with going single wide or end loader double wide which have come along way nothing like just 10 years ago
@@abbyfromkc652 yes I have a 2023 and I live comfortably with my son and wife. Paid it off in one payment and now I’m working on my own custom built home. I have had to do some repairs “small” some people will call them big and expensive but thankfully the internet is a beautiful thing and I do everything on myself. May just start my own business fixing RVs.
You should hear the nightmare stories with these models. Absolute horror stories with leaks, falling apart, appliances not working, dealers unable to support. I would buy something older, built well and well taken care of. If I was going to buy a Fifth wheel, I’d get an older DRV, Trave Trailer, older Airstream, truck camper, older Arctic Fox, Motor Home Older Tiffin or Prevost. RVs have become much more shiny but also much worse built.
What are you talking about? I've been researching these for months and have not heard any more or less complaints on these in comparison to everything else in the industry.
I always have the same gripes for destination trailers. For the closest home like experience, they lack home like amenities. Never a dishwasher in sight. Laundry area is always lacking. And for heavens sake let televators die. They're stupid. You don't need a moving tv. It's not MTV cribs in 2003. They aren't cool. Moving parts break, the tvs are too small. Get inventive. If you're worried about a destroyed view just set up a camera system that integrates to a 75 inch smart TV where you can use it as a virtual window to show the outside view when not in use for tv function. HOW REVOLUTIONARY a modern tech solution. You're welcome.
I don’t like this unit at all. Not sure why manufacturers have gone to this ugly brown interior, but it’s awful. Also, yes there is a lot of windows but the sliding door is always a no for me, reminds me of a 1070’s mobile home. Towing this thing would be a nightmare it’s top heavy and having that washer and dryer in the back? It scares me to death to think of some in experienced person towing this thing on the road. The fireplace in the master is awful as well. What’s the point? I would never use it for heat it’s way too close to the bed. And lastly, I don’t want to walk all the way to the other end of the trailer or that tomb in the kitchen to use the bathroom. 1/2 baths are nice but this one is awful. No window, and no normal size man would fit in that bathroom. This gets an F- for me.
This is the first rv, trailer i have ever seen with a half bath. At age 70 this is a necessity. Beautiful rv trailer! Thank you for sharing.
The main bedroom with the 3 windows they could have built a bench seating with storage like I've seen another ones. Too much of an open space fill it?
I cannot stop watching your videos, I am obsessed with rv’s! This channel is perfect to fill that crave! You have earned a new subscriber!
I have that same LG fridge. Compressor died 4 years after buying it. I think LG was sued over the compressor failures and redesigned them.

Good idea
Looks cool and makes me want to go land shopping. A bit of Google-fu has the MSRP at $103,994 with dealer prices in the mid-$70K range.
Nice unit for some acreageI would buy this if i had some property.
Great video and nice improvements and updates!!!
They may have pioneered the spiral staircase, but you pioneered forgetting to show us the loft at the top of it. 😊
We didn't get a look at the front loft area?
LOOOOOOOVE it.
