I worried when Dr. Stanley passed away that I wouldn't find another pastor I could learn from. I've been watching his sermons for 4 years. He was the best pastor I've ever seen. I'm so glad his sermons are still being broadcasted. RIP Dr. Stanley. You made a big difference in my life. I thank God He sent you to bring God's message to so many people including myself.

I found Charles Stanley in the 80’s, right away I liked him. I’ve followed him since then. When he passed I wasn’t sad because I knew he was in heaven with Jesus Christ his father.

I think Charles Stanly was and is a good preacher. In the past he got me through some tuff times. My mother Gracie Ann liked to listen to him too she passed away in 2019 of lung cancer when ever I'm troubled I light her candle in my room by her urine. Here is the condition my heart is in: two days ago, my son called me, he'd been drinking as usual. Started off nice enough, but quickly spiraled into a verbal ambush of screaming, cussing the Lord's name, and throwing things up from the past that I thought were forgiven. He resents and hates my boyfriend, who passed last September from leukemia, for taking me away to begin a life with him in another state. Mind you, my son is 38, married, has a family of his own, and I am now 60. He fired off point blank questions and I actually felt I had to address him as Yes Sir, which he replied "that's right!" It was horrible. For the last two days I have self isolated, don't eat or sleep well, I cry, and I actually tore up a picture of us when we were younger out of hurt. I feel numb and told my neighbors I just couldn't go to church tonight. I know that's exactly where I should be now more than ever, but I know I wouldn't be able to hold myself together. I actually thank God I am 700 miles away from my son who has been wanting me to move home because I am alone with health issues. I told him I cannot and will not move back and have episodes like this face to face. He took this as we are through being family. I have blocked his number and put the do not disturb on so he can't call me from my daughter-in-laws phone on another of his nighttime binges. I am turning all this over to God because it's more than I can bear. I know He will guide me through it safely.
