Dr Stanley my name is Tyra. I just wanted to come on here to say thank you!! thank you!! For this message. In just about half of my life I've made some unwise choices in my life that I regret. I wish I could have heard this sermon 35 years ago. I was fresh out of high school I was young with no direction for my life. I believe in God. But I didn't know him like I knew him now I've been baptized and saved. I'm still growing in my faith, but what I didn't know was how to be wise even today. I've made some unwise decision doing things my way that has cost me some unhealthy finance decisions. Your message talks about me, you made me see what I should have done a long long time ago. To be wise and go to God first on everything. Maybe I won't be in the situation I'm in today. But now I know what I need to do now. As I’ve said before; I love how Dr Stanley demonstrates important points. ie. At 13:50, he animates a verse from the Old Testament, Isaiah 30:21 “And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, ‘This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.’. (KJV)” And I stand on an affirmative 'AMEN!' to Dr Stanley's prayer at the end of the message.
Reminds me of what Socrates said 'The only thing I do know is nothing'. In our human 'wisdom'. We know nothing. But thru trust and divine wisdom. Thru Jesus/ The Holly sprit. We can know something better and useful. Thank you Dr Stanley 🙏
