My Swaddle wallet arrived on July 7, 2023 (Friday passed), it's wide because I'm from Portugal and I use Euros and in the 2+2 configuration to use coins! Its made the main black og MPG CONCEINIA APOLLO AND THE SECUNDARY OF CONCERNIA LA PERNA AZURA DAKOTA, mogano I love its design, strong and pleasant smell and instead of two rivets and 4 stiching it takes 4 rivets (2 on the front and 2 below to replace the stich) for greater beauty and resistance! It's evolution! She is in black and dark mahogany and is beautiful but beautiful! And when I took out to pay, everyone notices the beauty and smell (it's so strong)! It fits a lot of coins, banknotes, cards, house key and tc! I simply LOVE MINE SWADDLE AND I RECOMMEND IT WITH CLOSED EYES! Congratulations, Hunter

I have the wide Swaddle in black and dark mahogany and I use Euros, I love the wallet and it is the best I have and I have jaimie jacos nano boy & nano boy pocket, aviator wallet with with double coin tray and clip and carbon fiber and I also have grain wallet by taurus camp and an active camel bifold! Anyway my favorite is the wide Swaddle and I use the coins differently, being able to use it in both configurations because I use it in the outside slot next to where it closes the flap, inside the wallet and the coins I use for cards, because this way the coins (even fitting a little less) come out better and becomes much more practical and I can use in both configurations, as I said! It no longer takes two rivets and four points but 4 rivets (two in front and two underneath)
I dunno man, I picked up a shell cordovan Johnny Slim from Loyal Stricklin - released this year. I'm tempted to say it could top these, just my opinion :).
@@ChrispyThings the design and finishing is great (for me). I got the shell because I like fancy things, but you can get veg tan leather wallets from them for a reasonable price point. Check it out, it sounds like (among other styles) you’re into the flap closure wallets like Open Sea, Lost Dutchman, etc.
Very similar in functionality and quality but the Houbei can’t flip flop its pockets around. Don’t get me wrong, the Houbei is one of my all time favorites but this swaddle is an amazing accomplishment
I just received my Houbei in Natural Horween Dublin leather. That thing is beautiful and I don't see it falling out of my EDC rotation any time soon. With that said, this wallet does look interesting!
I seriously can’t answer that. 2 of my favorite wallets but they have different features. I’d say research both carefully and make your choice that way. I’ve recorded videos on both wallets too. But if I had to answer that honestly. I’d pick BOTH of them up. lol.
@@ChrispyThings Thanks for the reply, I think I'll get the D'Avella since your coupon code is still active making it cheaper, it's been out longer so has had time to make minor revisions to improve the overall design and since it's October I can get the Skully logo which is my favorite. Since the Swaddle just came out it's not in danger of being retired and may get some revisional updates after being in the hands of more people to use. Or at least that's how I'm justifying my decision to make myself feel better. I'll get the Swaddle eventually.
Hello! I'm from Portugal and I have the willow craft Goods Wide Swaddle in black and dark mahogany and I love it but the coins in the pocket leaning against the flap have a hard time leaving! What do you think about using the coins in the outside pocket that is closed inside the flap? It takes fewer coins but I think they come out more easily! Congratulations for the videos and greetings
I had to go buy me one after seeing your review. My honest opinion? It's ok I actually like the opensea leather topsider Quickdraw better. I know you don't cash wrap but the cash wrap on the willow kept getting caught and folding the corners of my bills and the two tuck flaps kept getting caught on the little button on the little pocket on my pants. I ended up going back to my trayvax venture pretty quick. If anyone has opensea leather I'd say that's a better wallet, probably second best from the venture and third would be the correa creative model 3 for me.

I have the model 3 and the topsider Quickdraw those are next in line, but the venture for me is so innovative taking a billfold and a minimalist Quickdraw wallet into one. I also like having one dedicated cash spot and three other slots so I can keep all my cards separate. Also I can fit all my cards with ease and have a small profile, the model 3 is to small and the topsider Quickdraw is to cramped for me. Idk how trayvax did it but they did it.

@@ChrispyThings Idk how to explain it .. just the look of the wallet .. to my eye it looks like a wallet I’ve seen at department stores .. not sure if it’s the colored leather or silver rivits .. nothing against you I watch your vids a lot of em .. I guess wen I pick up one of my open sea leather wallets they just feel hand made ( cause they are ) .. they are super simple and that leather .. I prefer natural colors that will patina..
I tried to use a few models of open seas, tbh it's mostly a hype. the design makes it a bit wonky after a while. may be its the weird way of the flap closure. im using cratf n lore wallet now, its neat. Willow swaddle wallet looks like a cool and unique design.
trying to fit unfolded bills, makes the the wallet looks awful, that's not gonna happen in real life on-the-go; spending time trying to fit those bills that way. it's better you demo how practically that will work on the go...
I'm not really interested in leather wallets. Basically this looks OK, but for me, those straps are big no-no. There are much better looking leather wallets for me, though I still wouldn't buy any. So I'm probably not the one to listen here

I just picked one of these up in Blue Raspberry and charcoal in the original size. This is one of the best, you can feel the quality.
