prolly on a boat It is a very nicely produced video - video games are just an over flooded market on RUclips sadly, you have to be very good or very very lucky to make it big.

Yeah UN squadron is an absolutely beautiful game, my favourite shooter on the SNES hands down (a lot of people go for Space Megaforce / Super Alesta, but I find that game outstays it’s welcome a bit too much, by the last 3 levels I’m thinking is it over yet?). I love SHMUP’s but am mediocre at best at them, UN Squadron is one of the few I am really good at, and can comfortably finish on hard mode, which earns it a special place in my heart.
My one complaint is the padding created by the unnecessarily expensive planes and items - unless you can stick with the starting plane right until the last couple of levels (not recommended to new players as the seeker rockets, only accessible in upgraded planes, help a bunch) you are going to be doing 15 solid minutes of the same small convoy mission to grind money, at the end of the game, because having the best plane for the last 2 levels is more or less mandatory. Another problem with the money thing is, it can make your extra lives / continues irrelevant once you have accessed the last level, because the convoys dry up, and if you die a few times, you can find yourself without enough money to restock your ship with ammo, making the game more or less over. I’m afraid there is only one solution to this - grind for more “safety money” before you get to the last level.
Once you master the game however this won’t present a problem, as you’ll find yourself getting through the game easily on 1 credit and maybe even one life :) it’s a great game and a must have for every SNES owner.
