Hey everyone! In this episode of Imagination Megapark I work on a new area of the park, the Science Station! In this area of the park there will be lots of fun contraptions, and today we start with a Junior coaster that teleports!

Honey wake up, third Deurk vid this week dropped!
I think it'd be pretty nice to have the portals on the junior coaster to be blue and orange, just like on the game portal LOL. Also love how the food court turned out, very modern and sci-fi esc!

Something that I always do with a square/plaza area to fix the pathfinding is adding somehting like a fountain, garden, info kiosk, fairground game, drinks stall, food truck or entertainer show.
Yeah I guess I'll have to put something in the middle there!

Since my last comment, RUclips has made changes to how it displays usernames - or more specifically, it now shows a unique name for each user. So now I am no longer simply Sultan. As such I must demand another handyman be named after me. In fact, just name every handyman after me! For only I am worthy of this task. On a completely unrelated note, nice park
I renamed the handyman named Sultan back to Handyman, and then named it Sultan again. Hopefully that fixes the issue.
@@Deurklink Due to the improper lack of specificity of my request, I must concede that this does in fact fix the issue. Have you considered naming a mechanic Deurklink?

Is vertical teleportation possible? I've used horizontal teleporting transport rides for really big parks, if you are quick enough you can actually follow them! I wonder what speed it corresponds with.
Only for some rides like go karts vertical teleportation is possible.

For this new Science Station area, it would be really cool to see an axis coaster

I think that would be a bit too difficult in RCT2...

A question: why do you use entertainers dressed as security guards and not actual security guards?
Vandalism is disabled in the park so I don't need any actual security guarding security guards, might as well have them keep the guests happy!

Your video encoder really doesn't like the fast-forward segments. I've noticed it in previous episodes too, but at 2:58 it's really obvious. The tower car freeze oddly.
It's not the video encoder, OpenRCT2 itself does that when you fastforward. Not really much I can do about it.
@@Deurklink Oh, it's recorded gameplay that's sped up! Of course! Pretty obvious now when you think about it.
If it's an engine limitation there's probably nothing you can do. The only workaround I can come up with is recording the same segment in 1x speed and speeding it up in editing, but that's much more time consuming and tedious.
@@vinculaomega5283 The mod is open-source, so realistically it *could* be fixed, but rendering is complex and none of us commenting are graphics programmers.
@@vinculaomega5283 Yeah it already takes long to record all the footage after playing, can't have it take even longer :)
