I love Bob Marley music and his children music as well! I don’t think they are talentless as some would say but based on this song - I would question if some of them still maintain the principles of Rastafari.
They are all doing well for themselves so if Damien has money for this artist, it’s not a difficult thing to write the man a cheque. This is not a good reflection on the Marley’s name.
As for doing charity work in Jamaica to help the poor- they should and I hope they do because I saw Damien Marley new song showcasing his massive wealth from singing Reggae music and in the video he was showing his son their humble beginnings! Its a good thing to never forget your roots and to help the less fortunate once you are in a position to do so.

To this Day, I am so upset that Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers album "One Bright Day" got the Grammy over Buju Banton "Til Shiloh", I was stunned. I bought both Albums, and "Til Shiloh" was clearly the superior Album, and people that I knew, and didn't know were rocking it. Word in the music world, and on the street, was that Ziggy and the Melody Makers got the Grammy because of the Marley name; unfair.
