  • (Episode 3 "Part Three The Promised Land") - Testament: The Story of Moses is the new documentary series exploring his life, from his exile as an outcast and murderer to eventual prophet and liberator. The three episodes take the story of Moses far deeper than the conventional wisdom generated by history classrooms and Charlton Heston; in other words, even if you think you know Moses, you have no idea. The new three-part series is directed by Benjamin Ross.

      They were able to walk calmly (if one were to imagine, briskly) due to winds blowing from the west, pushing them eastward. What this adaptation - and many others, I might add - misses, is that what's guarding the escapees from the Egyptians is the equivalent of an electrical sandstorm, sand-blasting the soldiers into not advancing. It's only once the Isrealites - and the people that chose to follow - cross the basin and reach the other side, does the sandstorm end; and once theyre spotted in the horizon, that the army charges.

    Much as I'd like to think it happened this way, the odds are improbable that there would be an equal column of water on both sides. Perhaps a receding of the water like a low, very low, tide, on the one side. That would make a crossing like this one impossible. It had to be in a fresh water lake that may have been prone to the kinds of tides that left the water level very low for Moses and then the tides turned and the water rose as Pharoah's men crossed into the waters. Over several minutes the waters would have gone from a few inches to several feet, enough to cover the area again. A tide seems more likely. An unusual tide, at that.

      Allah is not the God of Hebrews, but a different one.
      The God of the Hebrews says that he's a father.
      In the Bible, God has sons.
      The god of the Koran says he's a father to no one.
      The Quran says god doesn't have a son...
      The God of the Bible and god of the quran not the same... The Koran... Has Moses in it.. But Moses is the lineage of Jacob who is re-named renamed Israel by God... Thus, The nation is called the children of Israel.
      Having Moses and king David and Mary in the Koran completely goes against Muhammad.
      Wasn't Muhammad said to descend from Ishmael?
      Why is Moses in the Koran if he's of the stock of Isaac and Jacob?
      If God used Ishmael, why did he use Isaac at all?

  • @ankejurnalishi
    @ankejurnalishi 4 месяца назад

    Turkish people, who watched and listened to the stories and movies attributed to these religions, which are assumed to be divine according to some, prayed to their gods as follows after watching the movie: "We are grateful to you for creating the Turks differently from the Middle Eastern people who believe in these children's fairy tales." The Turkish nation, which is older than all divine or non-divine religions and accepts the existence of a single god, knew the truth of creation and the fact that there is a single creator long before the people of the Middle East. (Ancient Sky God belief). Turks did not embellish this reality with fairy tales. Because the children of the steppe liked to face facts instead of fairy tales. Until he accepted Islam. Even though we have accepted Islam and now love listening to fairy tales, we carry the blood of the only god of the skies with us. For this reason, Muslim Arabs and Jewish Israelites, who are genetically and culturally brothers, are on one side. We, the Turkish people, are on the other side.

      I hope “you” Turks follow and believe in Jesus Christ. I hope you don’t spew out this bs on judgement day cause it won’t do anything for you

    • @ankejurnalishi
      @ankejurnalishi 3 месяца назад +2

      @@Funnyk2m Turks are generally Muslims and Hz. They follow the path of Muhammad. But Hz. Jesus is also a prophet in Islam and we respect him too. That's not what I'm talking about. Even though there are Christian and Muslim Turks, Turks have only one truth, and that is the pride of being born a Turk. For us, being Turkish is above all beliefs. Religion is a cover over the Turks and is unimportant for the Turks. Being Turkish means being blessed for us. We are people who are proud of our national identity, not our faith. Neither Muslim Arabs nor the Christian West can understand this belonging.
      Arabs and Hebrews are brother nations descended from the same ancestor. Westerners, on the other hand, put the beliefs of these desert people before their own national identities. That's why you never had a noble historical past. You accept Christianity and serve the traditions of the Middle Eastern people. Even though Turks have chosen Islam, they still serve Turkishness.
