😂16:40 Keegan's counter-commenting on Joel's commentary on the show reviews, that's a sitcom all in itself. "The Partner You Never See (has things to say)". 😂Made me laugh!!
My mother before she passed away use to tell me when you meet your soulmate when people look at you two they won’t be able to tell you two apart. That they will think that you two are siblings, etc. I didn’t really believe her. I just thought it was kinda strange, why or how could two people start looking like each other, etc. it just seemed very odd. I know love can do strange things but physically change people. I wasn’t quite sure about that. Then today… I looked at your thumbnail… I couldn’t tell you two apart. I have seen your videos Joel for years and I couldn’t tell you and Keegan apart. ❤ it’s true you do in time with love become one. If they are the one. ♥️
Another great Edinburgh vlog these are one of my favorites vlogs and the show reviews are always top notch Joel and let’s not forget Keegans mini funny show reviews are always 💯 👍🏻😆
Edinburgh looks beautiful! Can’t find places like that in the US. The festival looks like a lot of fun! Thanks for taking us along! You guys are certainly busy! Your holiday will be here be you know it!!🫶
Saw this and thought Oh my extra from Joel, then wait, how is it Thursday already! This was a wonderful trip to view from over here in TN. Always jealous of Edinburgh, and definitely would love to do fringe, and all those gorgeous walks and historic buildings. The market looks fun. And yes, love your reviews. Nice to live thru others when we can't do it. And especially glad to know you had such a great time. Truffle mac and cheese sounds so good right now. Mmmm
Another great vlog Joel! I love Edinburgh. It always rates return visits. Did you say you’re friends with Larry Dean? He’s hilarious. Luckily for us, he comes to the Melbourne comedy festival regularly. And please keep on incorporating Keegan's cameos, especially where he’s extracting the Michael from you😂.
I was having a kind of ho hum afternoon and then I saw you uploaded your Edinburgh vlog! What fun you guys had. Thanks so much for sharing. You two make me laugh with your banter.
@@TheJoelWood Thanks, Joel. Heading up later to Red Bank, NJ to see one of your national treasures, Richie Blackmore, formerly of Deep Purple. He's in a band with his wife Candace Night, called Blackmore's Night. Can't wait!
Thanks for the annual Fringe tour, Edinburgh is just stunning! Love the history and architecture, glad you had fun! ❤ Except for that rock climb, that seemed a bit much the way you went up. 😂
I always look forward to your Fringe vlogs Joel. Despite probably never having even an opportunity to see any of these shows, it's fun to see what sort of entertainment goes on there at Fringe. Plus the entertainment of your reviews (and Keegan's commentary on your commentary) makes these a real joy to watch! After >10 years, you still have fun and interesting content Joel! I don't know how you keep up with it all lol. 🥰 to you & Keegan!
I love Edinburgh. It's been a long time since I was last there as it's a long trip from Australia. I found the people really friendly and helpful and loved the history and ambience. Unfortunately, I was there before the Fringe so I missed out. Thanks for the video, Joel. It brought back fond memories for me.
I love this vlog. I’m in Boston, Massachusetts USA and Edinburgh looks so historically wonderful. I love your reviews of the shows. There is a variety in the kind of comedy offered which gives a platform for a plethora of creative types. Please share the festival with us each year you attend. Thanks for pointing out the various locations that were filmed in the Netflix program, “One Day”. I had wondered where the prominent stairway was shot. For my aged body, that Arthur’s Seat needed an escalator or funicular in order for me to reach the top. Thanks for taking me there virtually. That truffle mac and cheese looked scrumptious. And I had a flush of nostalgia of youthful days on a vacation in London as Simply Red played in the background as you ate the man and cheese. I was briefly transported back to a very sentimental time. I was literally…wait for it…”holding back the tears”. ❤😊🌈🎭
Thanks to you both, I've been to Edinburgh now (and I haven't)! Lovely place, lovely people, fun times, not to mention all of the good eats and drinks I get to witness. Always a good cheer!
I absolutely love Edinburgh. The fam and I are going to spend a couple weeks going around all of Scotland in ‘26. I know Victoria Street is very touristy but there’s a little cheese shop there that’s sooooo good. There’s also a great fish and chip spot down in Leith.
It is interesting to hear what is going on in other cities, so I enjoy reviews. Especially the contrast between your thoughts and Keegan's. Thank you for the video!
You two are such a cute couple! Great air B& B! We loved Edinburgh! Want to go back. I love that Keegan gets you to do stuff that you wouldn’t normally do.
enjoyed this guys, especially your walks and eating in Edinburgh. So fascinating to see parts of the city that I'll probably never visit, but you gave us a short tour. Thanks. What was that last drink that Keegan got? Glad you could get away and enjoy the shows and each other.
Loved it all! Gorgeous Edinburgh, the front doors, the critics choice, the festival, the food, the banter, the BNB and the mountains that were climbed so gracefully… “I am not a mountain goat!” lol!! … you are naturally funny and I could listen to you talk about anything. ❤
I really need to go to Scotland, particularly Edinburgh during the Fringe Festival, it’s looks like such a beautiful city with historic venues and architecture. Larry Dean is one of my favorite comedians. I love British comedy or should I say UK comedy. Keegan is, as always, absolutely adorable when he teases Joel and your smiles say so much about the two of you as a couple. Have a great weekend and see you in the next vlog.
Rolling at Keegan's commentary...basically editing FOR you!! Love the accompanying music....very tasteful to the "arts." Also....happy to know you ARE NOT a mountain goat! 😂😂 whew! That was a close one! 😂😂😂 Thanks for bringing us along and Always ❤
This is my 3rd year with you at Edinburgh, and it just gets better don’t you think. Nice climb, I remember last year you and Keegan went with a group. I liked the reviews and appreciate hearing what you two think about the talent. Thanks for taking us along, see you soon!💕👍
Thanks for taking us along again, Joel--love seeing all the places you two go, especially as it’s highly unlikely I’m ever going to come “across the pond” and see these places in person (63 year old in Texas here). So thank you for letting us live a bit vicariously through your content. And thank you for including a shot of Keegan’s calves on the climb--very distracting but not complaining 😂. Love and best wishes to you both, so glad we have such wonderful representation for our community--keep it up and Take Care❤!
Thanks for the review from the Fringe Festival. Hearing about the Shrek show reminded me of Titanique, which I have seen twice now in NYC. It’s suppose to go London. You and Keegan should check it out. It’s so fun!
I enjoyed your vlog of your stay in Edinburgh and the various shows you saw at the Fringe. I wonder if you may have spotted or run into another RUclipsr, Mickeyjotheater, who reviews shows not only at the Fringe but at the West End and other venues around the UK as well as Broadway in NYC. After 3 days of theater attendance it can feel exhausting and like a forced march. I can’t believe you actually ate at a JOLLIBEE in Edinburgh! The fast food place actually originated in the Philippines. It’s essentially food that was heavily influenced by the American military that occupied the country after WWII. I’ve yet to visit the one that’s in the LA in the So. Hollywood area. Please understand I am Filipino and I grew up with some of that food. TBH it’s pretty much rubbish, no nutritional value but at the same time highly satisfying like something you’d get at any fast food chain. I wonder, like McDonalds, if Jollibee tweeks the taste of the food to appeal to the local tastes. I find it funny that Jollibee actually opened in Edinburgh of all places. I wonder how widespread their franchise is in the UK. Keep up the great work and making the time and effort to continually post. BTW Is HHH reappearing anytime soon? Stay well👍🙏😎😜
I give this vlog 3 out of 5 since it was just as advertised on the tin, but not my cup of tea. 😉 Just kidding, it was great! This was funny and entertaining. 😆 I love the Joel-Keegan banter. 👍
A wynd is just a Scots word for a street , and you say it like in " wind the clock back " and not as in " bit of a wind today ". Also my brother lived in India Street for 14 years and you generally call that part of the city " the New Town " because it was built c 1810 in what had been a loch on the edge of the old city. So normally you wouldn't say we are in new town but " We are in the New Town ". I don't mean to nit pick just giving you some background. Scots use the definite article a lot ( even though Gaelic doesn't have one ! ) So we say " he's in the hospital" which is a bit like Americans , may be that's where they got it from, but we even say " he's at the school " , meaning he's old enough to be going to school.
18:53 lmao I probably wouldn't get into a Shrek thing either, as I am the wrong generation for it...I'm Generation X, so too old to have gotten into Shrek! Although hot chicks are always hot 🙂
Could it be possible for your butts to be even more shapely? My or my that climb up the mountain. Edinburough will never look quite like it does in this vlog.
GLad you had fun, I had friends and EF this year, but then I usually do lol. You know Larry Dean? I love him! Hes hilarious. and cute...can you give him my number? :P

Oh Keegan, you are great in Joel's vlogs. Especially when you take the micky out of him! It's hilarious & adds to it.
Love both of you!
Once again, the banter between you two steals the show. ❤⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐❤
Another great Edinburgh vlog these are one of my favorites vlogs and the show reviews are always top notch Joel and let’s not forget Keegans mini funny show reviews are always 💯 👍🏻😆
Edinburgh sounds fun all year round but especially the Fringe Festival sounds even more fun! 👏🏽
Larry Dean is funny and adorable. He’s a star.
Love how keegan gets you out of your comfort zone
Edinburgh looks beautiful! Can’t find places like that in the US.
The festival looks like a lot of fun! Thanks for taking us along! You guys are certainly busy! Your holiday will be here be you know it!!🫶
I appreciate these videos. I will never see shows from the Fringe so these snip its are great.

The best thing about this video is the beautiful architecture and BEAUTIFUL Keegan 😊
Love seeing your Edinburgh trips. Love the reviews as well.
Great Joel and Great Keegan to conquer Edinburgh! .. I agree with some previous comments: almost a sitcom... the most enjoyable one! 😃
I was having a kind of ho hum afternoon and then I saw you uploaded your Edinburgh vlog! What fun you guys had. Thanks so much for sharing. You two make me laugh with your banter.
Aww, glad you enjoyed it! Hope you have a better afternoon today Dorothy!

Thanks Joe! Haha yeah the rock climb was a tad extreme 😂
Actually, the whole dumping things in the bedroom only makes you two more endearing haha
I’ve been enjoying your videos keep making happy memories thank you❤❤❤
Great to see locations from one day, interesting the mix of shows and what you both thought !
Glad you enjoyed it!

That funky feature wall looks great! It's that good I took a picture of it so I can do something like that in our new house when we move.

Thanks for watching!
You never bore me. I enjoy your videos including this one. Hope your trip was wonderful. 😊❤
So so great that you guys are supporting the arts like this and awesome that you also climb up Arthur’s Seat (I did this too - great views!).
I love the banter! Thank you for the reviews Joel. Living in Australia its nice to see/hear about the Fringe!
yayyy, your Edinburgh vlog was the first video I watched of yall. Excited for this!!
Have an MSc from Edinburgh and lived there for a total 9 years. I can see into my old GP's window from the cafe in your video.
That is great. Our airbnb in Edinburgh was mouldy. Please post a link. Coffee Saints was great and they do good stuff for people.
It’s called a difference of opinion babe - urrkaay!😂
Great video! I can now say I've been to Edinburgh "fringe" n the company of 2 delightful gentlemen.
haha!! 🤣
This is my 3rd year with you at Edinburgh, and it just gets better don’t you think. Nice climb, I remember last year you and Keegan went with a group. I liked the reviews and appreciate hearing what you two think about the talent. Thanks for taking us along, see you soon!💕👍
I think the best time to visit Edinburgh is in the Autumn, my favourite time of year.
In South Africa, Come Dinner with me has their own version and the UK version
Thanks for taking us along again, Joel--love seeing all the places you two go, especially as it’s highly unlikely I’m ever going to come “across the pond” and see these places in person (63 year old in Texas here). Love and best wishes to you both, so glad we have such wonderful representation for our community--keep it up and Take Care❤!
You should have seen Yorkshire's new musical called Somewhere. So good. 🔥
My son literally ran up the way you are headed. I chose the easier route and he was up there smiling and waiting for us.
So glad you enjoy my city. Arthur's Seat is behind our home. Too many people don't respect the hill. Lots of accident rescues.
I love it when you shoot videos with your boyfriend
Love Love Love Larry Dean!!!
❤❤❤
He's so great!!
Thanks for the review from the Fringe Festival. Hearing about the Shrek show reminded me of Titanique, which I have seen twice now in NYC. It’s suppose to go London. You and Keegan should check it out. It’s so fun!
The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie was also filmed there, starring Maggie Smith, Robert Stephens.
Never been to the original Edinburgh Fringe and is definitely on my bucket list!
I loved “One Day” 💞
Such a great show isn't it!! I was BAWLING my eyes out!
love your reviews!! thanks for taking us
More car chats! Between you guys and Mickey Jo theatre you satisfy my fringe ures!
I was at Fringe from the USA probably the same time you guys were.

This was funny and entertaining. 😆 I love the Joel-Keegan banter. 👍

OMG! Glad you liked Jolibee chicken..btw, it's origin is my country, the Philippines!!!😊❤❤❤
It's so delicious!!
Obviously humour is very subjective! Milton Jones is brilliant!
I think Mini Cooper is from Paris. Tastes so good. Iykyk 😂
🐐 look, it's Joel 🐐
jollibee's a filipino quick service restaurant (qsr) brand.
The best part was you two dickering over your rating for each show. Hilarious!!!
I got to the too of Arthur's Seat and it was inly hard because i was not wearing good shoes and kept slipping. I didn't take that route though!
I enjoyed it.
Jollibee is a Filipino multinational company based in Pasig, Metro Manila, Philippines.
Nice to go hiking
I just had a flash! You and Keegan propose at the same time at next year fringe!!!!🤔
Hmmm?
💙
❤❤❤❤
Mr and Mr ❤❤❤❤

He was brilliant as always!

Immune to the cost of living crisis. If only! 😂
Well I mean immune to the idea of prices not immune to the effects 😂

Not a 70p reduced loaf 😭😭😭
I know!! So weird for a host to do that 😂
18:53 lmao I probably wouldn't get into a Shrek thing either, as I am the wrong generation for it...I'm Generation X, so too old to have gotten into Shrek! Although hot chicks are always hot 🙂
The reduced bread is weird.
Very weird isn't it!! I'd buy reduced bread personally but not if I was renting my house out haha!
