The point is not the girl is knowledgeable at sports in general but she can appreciate good basketball or anything else just on the basis of “she’s doesn’t know it”. Girl knows a good play. Thays why I watch.

It’s actually a rare skill. I played sports my entire young life even through college and always Excelled at them. The thing I found that separated the real players from the jv squad was more often than not the “feel for the game” . Your intuition and subconscious reflex can lead you to success in the world of sports.

I remember being in an airport in Japan back in the 90s. The Bulls were on the TV and the people were amazed at what Jordan was doing. This reminds me of that. It's really fun to see a relative newbie's reaction to the NBA, but to tell you the truth, we longtime fans are amazed too by these Warriors and especially Steph. I've been watching basketball since the 1960s and never seen anything like it.

Nice, freedawkins does great editing for Warriors games. He really portrays the pace and turning points so well, not just from scoring, but from good defense too.

How The NBA Finals (or Championship)format works: The team that has the best regular season record has home court advantage.Format is set up like this: Golden State played first 2-games at home(San Francisco) Boston the next 2-at home in Boston.IF Warriors lost, they would've played Game-7 at home giving them 4-of the 7 games at home. It's similar to Major League Baseball in The World Series, the difference is the team with the 2nd best regular season record gets 3-straight home games after playing 2 on the road.🇱🇷👍

Idk but I think the NBA should probably be using the format MLB used by awarding home to the West or East in the All Star game because they need it more. I don't think you can ever change the MLB All Star game and it makes sense they don't do it anymore.

    • @stevenkhansouvong7498

The format for the NBA Finals is the same as the rest of the playoffs: 2-2-1-1-1, with the team who has the better regular season record enjoying home-court advantage for the first two games, with the fifth and the seventh, if necessary, also played on the same stage.

I love that people overseas are interested in the nba and the warriors (I’m a Bay Area native born and raised) there was even an anime studio that made an image of one of their characters in warriors gear congratulating my team holding up four fingers 🤣🤣🤣🤣 people really love this team and it makes me really happy

No mention of Curry pointing to his ring finger when they were up by over 20 points. That's extreme confidence by Curry so early in the game.

correction: warriors were the underdogs. people were saying the dynasty was over bc durant left, klay was coming off of 2 yrs of injury, the core was getting older. they weren't even favored to come out of the western conference. celtics were heavily favored with a stellar regular season record, multiple stars and very athletic, young with size.

NBA playoffs: the top eight teams in each Conference (East and West) make the playoffs. Each conference plays three rounds of Best-Of-Seven series in a fixed bracket format; the brackets are determined by each team's regular season record. The higher-ranked team in each series has home-court advantage. The winners of the third round winning the Conference title. The two Conference winners then play in the NBA Finals, the fourth and final round, in another Best-Of-Seven.

Hard to stop the Warriors offense...Coach Steve Kerr's running a version of the Jordan-era Chicago Bulls method--Every player on the court in constant motion and setting picks for the others, so they get lots of 3's and open lanes to the hoop. Kerr played alongside Jordan for his 2nd 3 championships in a row, so he knows how to apply it. Since the Warriors have all thier players locked under contract, I wouldn't be surprised to see them back in the finals next year!

    • @toomanyhats7141
      @toomanyhats7141 2 года назад

While I agree Kerr's offense take a good bit of inspiration from the Jordan Bull's triangle sets, let's not discount the motion offense aspect he applies is taken straight from the Popovich Spur's principles (who he also won rings with).
In truth Kerr's offensive schemes are a nice Hybrid of Popovich's motion offense, Phil's Triangle, and D'antoni's 7 seconds or less.

You are correct as far as how a best 7 series works. The first team to win 4 games wins the series. So it’s possible to play only 4 games if one of the teams wins 4 straight games. When that happens we call it a “Sweep”. Which would be embarrassing for the losing team, but it it can also be painfully to go 7 games and lose the last game because you were so close…At least if it goes 4-1 or 4-2 you can tell yourself it just wasn’t meant to be…in the beginning of a series Games 5, 6, and 7 are considered “if Necessary”…
The NBA, NHL, and MLB all use 7 game series for their playoffs and Championship…the NFL, MLS, and College/ University sports are the only ones who use a win or go home system for their playoffs and Championship Game…

All I got to say is, the NBA better watch out. The analysts are actually counting out the Warriors again. The only teams that have similar firepower are the Pelicans and Bucks but there are question marks for both of those teams. This could be Klay Thompson's first full season since 2019. The 2 rookies will only get better. They're adding the 7'2" James Wiseman in the paint. Added a defender in JaMychal Green. And Poole will have so much skill and confidence. The only things that I feel like can stop the Warriors are injuries and the Pelicans. Because the Warriors have nobody who can stop Zion. Zion could be their kryptonite. But we will definitely see! It's going to be a fun season!

Only way to win is to get 4 wins against the teams 0 wins, but if the other team had two wins and the other team has 4, they'll have to play to 6 wins to win, they'd have yo get 2 more straight but if the other team wins the next game. Then and only then will they have to play, final game 7, winner takes all , its like over time in any game last to score wins 😂😂

is it finally over? I mean the NBA just drags on and on and on and on and on. is it football season yet? I mean don't worry the NBA will take like 2 weeks off and then they'll come back on with their squeaky shoes and their whistles. 🙄
