Men At Work are an Australian rock band formed in 1978 & best known for their hits "Who Can It Be Now?" & "Down Under". They had some other songs such as "Be Good Johnny", ", "Dr. Heckyll & Mr. Jive", "It's A Mistake", "Everything I Need", "Maria", "The Longest Night". Men At Work performed "Down Under" at the closing ceremony of the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, alongside Paul Hogan of "Crocodile Dundee".
And, I am 55 years, and this song came out in 1983 -so, for years, I've been a fan. Some music grows with you, and has more meaning as you age too. And, when you have some joy, tragedy, event, emotion, and you can think "Yeah, I've music for that!" it's such a share of humanity.
Classic!!! Colin Hay's voice is Amazing!!! He still sounds great. Sadly, we lost Greg Ham (horns) in 2012. He was way too young. RIP Greg. Check out Tom MacDonald "CASTLES" and "I WISH". I think you'll love him.
You’re my kind of weirdo then! I grew up with these guys as a kid and still love them. He was on an Australian tv talk show a few years ago and he did a duet with his wife at the end of the show. So much love in the room. ruclips.net/video/9erOq0xboAM/видео.htmlsi=3yDFbXw0CGEi7qER
Overkill is a song that really helps me deal with my problems. It's something of a one size fits all mental illness song. There's something there everybody relates to. I want to promote an artist I fell in love with a few years ago. Andrew Cushin. As far as a starting song I'd recommend "Just like you'd want me to." In encompasses the emotional depth with the positive feelings his songs can have.
Hmm someone you haven't heard of? I think you should do Hoodoo Gurus. Not enough people have heard of them. Hoodoo Gurus - What's My Scene ruclips.net/video/K2vjGGEnE6U/видео.html

No f'n'way...was awesome reaction, thanks, Todd from Ohio...
This song has helped me through depression, and emotional needs -vivid and honest. And the Sax' and guitar solo are awesome!!

A grand from Australia. Colin Hay has a very distinctive voice. They were really big in the 1980s.
"It's a Mistake" (by Men at Work) and "Going Somewhere" (Colin Hay Solo), Both great songs, Love his voice too.
Oh yeah. Colins voice is elite and beautiful. He is revered in Australia for his voice. And in LA. Where he lives.
Have you done “ Down Under “ yet? The Charismatic Voice just did, classic 👍🔥
